Nikolas, my game is saved so we can do this duel, we still had to determine who goes first but you never looked at the chat. I tried inviting you in a new one, but it said you were off line. I waited 20 mins, but you never looked at the chat, when I left the game, you left the whole conflux without looking at the chat.
My save game is here and waiting, we just need to determine who goes first.

Not my fault.I cant find my chat widget.It has happened before,i'll have to search in the forums for a solution.Like i said in my message to you blame it on Ubi.

Meanwhile I finally had that paladin vs pyromancer game with Arv. My victory was rather cheapened by the fact that his relic and one major were might exclusive and a few bad moves - like using gating 3 and hoping it would play instantly which allowed me to destroy a pitlord gate  In the end I was left with most crusaders, most angels, guardian angel 4 to come soon and an unused reinforcements II. I did a stupid move myself, momentarily forgetting that guardian angel still triggers fiery retaliations on all other units  Think that cost me 3 angels, some 15+ glories and what else. At that time though the game had already been decided so it didn't change much. I had 20 resistance(sea elf charm and blessed sandals for +4) against his 33 spellpower and 42 defense(pirate armour, blessed sandals and dwarven shield for +9) against his 17 attack. Abilities used: Heroic charge, pressed attack, evasive maneuvers, rush, burning determination.
Looking forward to a rematch where we'll hopefully have more comparable artifacts.
PS the challenge was held on the previous version.

So as I was saying blood magic pwns tears magic  Doubledeck could have minimized the cloud potential with a safer formation but countering your damage or paying you back in kind? Not likely. Tears can disable all it wants while you happily bombard his units with destructive after destructive.

Indeed Blood is OP. Emperor realised this, so the video of our friendly is goign to be tears vs tears! WHERE I ACTUALLY USE TEARS ABILITIES!
...not many of them though

I was wondering if you had forgotten it. I guessed that the paladin would blunt the pyromancer's damage, which turned out to be correct but with different inferno artifacts that probably would have different. 33 spellpower his high but another 5-10 should be possible. I also thought that luck and morale would determine a lot, did it? Was there a big difference between your "extra damage", and in the use of gating/guardian angel?

I had +4 extra morale as Arv had +4 extra luck so things were about as expected, it was mass burning determination that made the difference. I had some good resurrections early on. My damage was nothing spectacular as I had zero attack boosts but morale certainly helped. I tried to minimive arvis damage potential by focusing on succubi and blocking breeders early on, at some point he summoned breeders and DAMN they did a lot of damage! Thankfully I could kill the original stack before they acted again, my hero had to attack them directly because the angels would kill all but one ^^

Only 4 extra luck? That's your problem right there
I feel that 1 morale = 2 or even 3 luck in terms of filling the racial gague, since luck only works with attacking units, where as morale works on defending, waiting AND attacking units
edit: Then i remember that both players lucks fill up the gague, so extra luck doesn't help at all
Infact, you generally want your opponent to have 14 luck and yourself aournd 18, which is 4 extra
So yeah, base numbers please!

Except luck skill gives +16 while morale +9. Morale can happen one time per unit, luck not necessarily so. Attack, retaliation(s), then there is opponent's luck that fills the gauge. Same cannot be said for haven.

But yeah I thought you meant extra as in you had 4 more morale than him and he had 4 more luck than you
