H6 Expansion Q&A
There is a new Q&A about the "Shades of Darkness" expansion out. 
The questions were:
1. Who is the developer; will Limbic handle it?
2. Who will write the campaign?
3. What other new material is added? Spells, artefacts, adventure map buildings etc.?
4. What can you tell us about the creature lineup of the Dungeon?
5. Will the expansion include the campaigns and maps of the first release?
6. Will the expansion include material from the DLCs "Pirates of the Savage Sea" and/or "Danse Macabre"?
7. Will there be any more patches for the original version, or is 1.8 the last patch? Are you going to improve the map editor?

Some interesting news there
1: Marzhin works on the story. I liked His PoSS so I hope he will do well again
2: New Neutrals and Bosses.. Good news indeed (More Neutrals YES)
3: Maps and Bonuses from the Vanila game will be accesable in the Expansion, very good, It would very bad if all my Dynasty work done by now would end up beeing useless.
4: New map objects, Especially the utopia.. This means, they found a faw how to make it. (Dragons in the game)

So...the chakram-chick is not a blood sister but a "stalker"? Or that would be the faceless art first shown?
Also according to the interview it's gonna be 2 elves, 5 monster. One will be surely the not-beholder. If the faceless is a creature too then we only have 3 spots left, one elf and two monsters

I looked up Virtuos, here is a list of games they previously made. I am very skeptical of them.

NO FURTHER PATCHES? Come on, it's still full of bugs! Lazy snows, You don't deserve to own the franchise, grr. 
At least the expansion will fill the Adventure Map, though I'd hardly have the nerve to call Memory Mentors and Dragon Utopias 'new'.

Nah it doesn't matter. Picking Nival (a big company) for H5 made me very happy back in the day, but the game didn't meet my expectations. In case of Heroes I will not judge a book by it's cover anymore (except Ubisoft that is  )
I just hope Blackies will be in the final game (because they can always throw the Malassa Boss into the Utopia so it doesn't guarantee Black Dragons will be in the game).
And new neutrals is always good news.

If Black Dragons are in, then I hope they will be BLACK and not sprayed with purple. Otherwise, we'll retexture it. ^^
Manticore and Faceless are going to be in for sure.
There's also a lot talk about crossbows on the official site, so maybe the H5 Stalker will return and the Chakram-lady is something else? She's probably the new Shadow Witch.

It'd be weird to have a Dungeon without Tuidhana's assassins so I'm pretty sure the other Dark elf is going to be one of those.

Thanks to Celestial heavens to ask the right question (question 7). And I am very disappointed with the answer.
The game is technically unfinished and Ubisoft won't release new patch.
The map editor is not usable and Ubisoft won't fix it.
Ubisoft is killing the game's longevity and thus the fan communities.
I bought a game that will never be what Ubisoft promised : I consider that I have been cheated by Ubisoft.

But...a chinese studio? who haven't participate in any PC game?
Goint to the game list almost makes my cry. Monopoly??? Dora the Explorer??? Hannah Montana games???
Pufff, HVI still dead for me, this won't fix anything important of the game, aside from the new faction

My main gripe with this is we were told multiple times that they were going to fix the map editor to make it more user friendly and now they are saying they have no plans to do so.
The fact that anyone believes what they say or have faith in their decisions anymore boggles my mind.
How many times do they have to fail and screw over the fans before they say enough is enough?

What's worse is that it was one of the main features the fans asked BEFORE the game was even released and they promissed they'd make a very user-friendly tool.

Oh, I hadn't readed about manticores. And since it appears that Black Dragons will be too then that leaves only one spot for another elven unit. I'm thinking assassins too.
