Not really a bug, happened to me too.
For example: you are on 980 elo and you get 21 elo from victory.
Your Elo goes up only to 1000....then gets adjusted for extra 1 later. Not sure why.
@RMZ1989 -> DA's are great for rush decks. First turn, you can have a stack that deals 4 damage....this screams rush to me.....

I know, that was kind of my point, that it is disgustingly good for rush decks. Card is just imbalanced.

The only problem is when someone is lucky enough to deploy more than one early and is backed by mana storm / path of ancestors which is pretty situational to begin with. Pretty much anything can kill or disable them for 1-2 cost so it's not such a big deal. I have been using them since forever and the chance they will not be killed the moment they are summoned is rather low  High amount of common counters regardless of faction.
Common counters and a little skill can get you a long way.. I am considering to make a second account and see how hard it is to reach 1000 from scratch. Thinking to start with necro as inferno would be too easy and haven is plain boring.

That's why I use DA's as a distraction....like you said, they are almost always focused on to eliminate....
Come on Elvin, get to 1500 elo first! Bloody difficult....I hover around 1150 - 1230....

Xorm is not a consistent hero so you can't expect to reach a high elo and just stay there. Rushing is fun but can go awry too Not to mention the lack of counters versus stallers, you are playing spell Xorm as always right?

Yup using Xorm.....I know he's not great for beyond 1200 elo progress....but waiting to get Phrias (or maybe a cool new Inferno hero with herald)....120 premium void cards for Phrias seems so much!
I love the quickness of Xorm rush battles (lose or win)....I just can't get myself into these otk / control decks, they just take battles too long....
What other rush heroes are good to go beyond 1200?
Thinking Orc faction is good for rush too.....

Siegfried, Kelthor, Nergal, Kieran, Ishuma can all play fast with the right setup.

I hate his retaliation decks though. Excruciatingly long matches where you die of boredom.

Siegfried is flipping annoying, and if I do manage to turn the tables on him, he ragequits. Also, his special is a pain in the butt.

So I created a new account to see the beginning of the game through the eyes of a more experienced player. Campaign missions were completed almost effortlessly, even the one with Fleshbane's ghost mania Got the box at lvl 3 before moving to the 3rd chapter and with the codes and a few packs I bought I had: 2 archliches, 2 weakness, 1 pao, 1 geyser, 4 soulreaver, 1 shadow image. Some other goodies too but not useful for this deck. First opponent was a 100 elo Xorm, went down without much trouble either.
I have no more missions to play so I'll see how fast I can climb

Like I said I'm curious to see how things have changed since I first played it. I have trouble believing that it's so hard to hit the 1000 mark with a deck other than inferno. Mind you, at the time I had made the break with stronghold despite starting with inferno

Well, RedEmp hit 1000 elo with Necro deck (with some guidance of course from you know who  ) so it's not that it's hard to reach 1000 but just easier with Inferno/Stronghold....

I'll still have to buy reinforcement packs to get my last Deathseeker... hopefully they'll drop in price pretty substantially as new boosters are released.
Want list:
2x Week of the Tamed Spirits
1x Surprise Attack
3x Vulture Riders
1x Deathseeker
If I do somehow get to 1000 elo with my Acamas, I guess I'll have to deal with OTK... which cards are good for countering that? I suppose discard fortunes?
