I have reached a new milestone recently. I have completed the base set, gotten the 25 swiss achievement, acquired Ariana, void set is almost complete(5 cards missing) and I have settled on a few solid decks. The time has come to reinvent myself, try new things Here are my main decks so far:
Kelthor 4/1/1 with 2 cosmics, very aggressive. Good all around.
Kieran 3/6/1, very aggressive. Lack of melee/ranged guards but good all around.
Nergal 4/3/1, powerful board control with units and mass removal. Good all around, even otk.
Ishuma 5/3/1, heavy outmaneuver action. Good all around, sadly have not maxed geysers.
Garant 4/3/2, insanely fast and damaging. No otk counters, rush dependent.
Decks I have tried little, feel they are not competitive enough or need to improve in:
Ariana 3/6/1 and 4/6/1, although I have the cards to make the deck I want I feel something is missing. It works but I had higher expectations I suppose. Perhaps I just enjoy aggressive decks better, perhaps I am put off by the occasional spell randomness. I have also seen Psychobabble's 6/3/1 in action but while I love the idea, I am not sure this is what I want to go for.
Ishuma 6/1/2 with a dose of honour, have only tried a bit but it looks very promising. Initially I was using a rush / magic oriented 3/3/1 which was very exciting to play but was not as consistent as I would have liked.
Shaar 3/4/1, rush / magic oriented. Games always close and exciting, you should try it You even get to use her special and it wins games!
Siegfried 5/0/4 retaliation, would have played more if I didn't get Kieran at the time. Durable, hard hitting, strong.
Siegfried 3/0/3 rush, plays out sweet ^^ Sadly I only have one wolf captain.
Sandalphon 3/2/1 rush, same as above. Can be overpoweringly fast!
Kat 4/1/4 surprise attack. Amazing deck, plays both offensively and defensively with a potential grand finale. But.. for some reason I prefer the more aggressive Kelthor
Kat 4/4/2, one of my first decks. Wipes the battlefield in no time, potential hyper-enraged crusher finish.
Cassandra 4/4/2, similar story. Fun but didn't really draw me.
Xorm 3/2/2 rush, blazing fast but I really miss town portal. It's gotten me spoiled 
There are more of course but those are the ones I've played most. I'm currently considering a Fleshbane deck as I have never used him and have a few good ideas to try. Should also try a 4/4/0 Kieran and see how he compares to 3/6/0. Then there's this experimental 3/4/0 Ariana I am working on, seems to work better than expected. Anxious to see how the meta evolves with the new addon in mid-May

Hmm... but if you have 80 level, it isn't an achievement 
And my question is - how can 25-30 level player fight with all those 100-level nolives?
That's a joke, of course but there is a bit of truth

Eh, I got to level 13 and felt that playing the game for level (or ELO, for that matter) is too tedious
I am waiting for the new expansion pack and the daily achievement, so that investing one hours per day is fun again

With a good deck and even better luck I wouldn't worry about such sharks though, you have little to lose and a lot to gain. Losing 5+ elo is nothing but if they lose they are seriously screwed. And I have had my share of similar losses, there are no guarantees that you will win just because you are better or have better cards. It's a card game after all.

I've been in top 50 players with level 30.
And in top 100 just a little while ago with level 40.
It can be done, you just need to be smarter than them.

6/5/3 at 12th turn lol Only town portal could have saved him. Or maxed altar of destruction / torture chamber but that's a highly improbably scenario. What were you playing? Looks like an otk hybrid.

I was origialy making a Belias "Direct damage", but with my cards I found this deck to be to slow and not able to conter most decks.
So I changed the hero to Grant which gave me the needed speed and fire bolts.
The max values are 3-2/4-4 so past turn 5 I just take cards.
It's basicaly a Rush/Direct damage hybrid. In the first turn, I try to make as much damage as posible with Chaos imps, Succubi (both with Week of the wild spirit) and the clasic inferno core creatures (Demented/Maniac/Ravager), this plus my only DA (and a few breeders in case of needed spell power to summon imps/cast spells) are the creatures I use.
Later in the game I trie to slow the enemy down with Broken bridge and Altar of shadows. Altar of destrucion, Void wrights and 2 torture chambers are here for the direc damage. Campfire and the +4 card fortune to have enought cards on my hand.
Only few spells are here. Fire bolts and Teleports to clear the way and one Immolation to fire up the wrights if needed.
The only fun card I play in this is Grant's purge
It's a fast deck which can stand up to most controls but has problems with Necro sofar. And it does a lot of damage => a lot of gold

My favourite is Xorm from Inferno.....with gold pile and might being able to reach 3 in turn 1, you can place a nice juggernaut! If only he had access to Prime, he would be the best rush hero...
