just played vs Nillicomes who played Garant TrollGate and got destroyed. I rly don't think that this is a bad deck even though when i talked to Trupiciel he said that the deck is not viable for competitive usage.

Very nice Elvin...long live Xorm!
My only fear is that rush decks are sometimes risky, it's the control decks (esp Cass and Dham) that are the main worries in the meta...
I played in the Fall tourney lsat night and saw my ass playing with Crag. It's all about the opening cards you get...very kami-kazi, it's make or break. I changed to Random Garant and this was a little better against Ishuma and Cass...
@Nameless: what kind of trollgate deck was it? Fortune based?

Hey there This mission is not an easy battle for beginners and was only introduced at the first expansion by which time I had some experience and much better cards. But, a few months ago I briefly played a secondary account with necro and managed it at lvl 3 so it is possible even early on if you play well. I recommend that you first redeem whatever active codes you can find in the sticky guide From there on, I suggest a tanky build with spells. The ghost onslaught that comes at you is pretty much insane so you want to survive as long as possible! Air elementals are very important as you are probably missing archliches, same for earth elementals. And do not overlook spells like ice spikes, geyser and icy weapon. From there on it's up to your cards.
Yeah but I've never even been close despite me having 2 archliches, 1 lesser earth and 1 greater earth. I'm level 6, and I got a stronghold deck as well
But yeh thx I guess ill go read the beginners guide. Tried it with the spells I have, but the only ones that really deal damage are death seal and agony
Air elementals get destroyed within 2-4 turns as I said I'm probably just very bad at this game haha. On another hand I guess I've had bad luck with packs, considering I barely have any good dark/water spells except the starter ones (I find most of these kinda crappy (not icy weapon/death seal etc ofc)). Infect 1 is useless considering it deals physical dmg so it won't count as dmg (?) and if I do 1 mistake I'm pretty much screwed. So it comes to player skill as well I guess, gotta go training in the duel mode even more

TrollGate is a name given to Garant/Xorm decks that utilize Gate to Sheogh to bring big creatures on the field around turn 2-3.

Just like Gaydalphone is fortune Sandalphone, Spellthor - Kelthor with many spells, Spellshuma - Ishuma with spells etc.

@Nameless: Yes I realise that, sorry, what I meant was, were there other fortune cards in play, or just gate fortune?
@WhoHAPPY: You should be posting this in the newcomer guide, but anyway, remember it does take a little time to build up a deck. If you necro start with a hero like Ariana that uses Dark and Earth. If you put the time in you should level up quickly and get more seals to get more packs. Have you used all the codes in newcomer guide?

Thanks for the help everyone I'll make sure to kick some ghosts whenever I got the time for it. (Is it rly worth it to buy that hero for wildcards? I got 26 of them but I'm saving for some OP hero or something)
And yea sry for derailing the thread, carry on! If someone has an answer, can I get a pm or something? so the thread can continue without me disturbing it all the time lol

The thing why she is so good is mostly because of her starting stats, her spell schools come second. 1-2-0 stats are just too good.

Yeah, her and Garant are the best heroes for beginners to start with I reckon.
Trying out that Xorm trollgate and damn, it's fun....not winning every game, but it's satisfying as hell to play!

It's true though, they used to be so popular...but now not. Maybe also because Strength of Sea made it better for Sand to go spells....

I think counters are ok, like unique ongoing are so strong but all it takes is dispel magic or cleansing light if u can play those, same is with countering control otk with fortune wards. Both sides have their good match ups and bad ones.
e.g. before the ammar nerf he was recking decks left and right, so I played a kieran heavy dispel deck and won 5 out of 5 against them (and they had 1300-1500 elo) but the drawback was it sucked vs almost all other decks; it's not normal to have a deck who can win vs all so you have to pick. i think the game is far more exciting this way.
