Interesting. In SoD in such case there is the same sound as at first visit and leave guards window is opened.
Maybe it was fixed in last official versions. Anyway, it doesn't seem to persist in HotA.

Your bug triggers in a version no one uses. Show same thing in SoD or Complete, to be sure. I tested in GoG complete edition and I don't get it.

The version I filmed is the Heroes III HD Edition, made by Ubisoft recently. They took the original game to make it, but I'm sure they didn't take the version 1.00, because in this edition, there are some patches, like strating with 1 unit after retreating... etc.
In the version 1.00, the first Heroes 3 release, I remember that to happen too.
I just tried with the Complete Edition, and there it doesn't have the bug, so it has been fixed certainly. I'll have to edit my first post to avoid misleading people.

HD Edition is based on the Linux port of RoE. It does not include RoE patch 1.4 as Dragon Flies don't cast Weakness and you can't buy un-upgraded creatures from upgraded creature dwellings.
Anyways all of this is completely unrelated to HotA so further talk about it does not belong in this topic. If anywhere it would belong as a feature request to HDE Mod here: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=41548

HD edition is sewage, no one uses it. Just get Complete edition.

I formatted the PC, but before I saved all my games. Now copy them in the games folder and do not appear in the game. what happen?

It is a normal behavior if You install the game into the "Program Files" folder on modern OS (Windows Vista and later). You should run the game as Administrator.
But the best solution is to uninstall the game and reinstall it outside "Program Files" folder, for example, in C:\Games\HotA\

I'm happy for the GR fix. Creators of hota and hd mod do incredible work and i rly appreciate it.
Pls fix "restarting" games. After restart timer is set to unlimited so i am forced to create game again.

MP bug
Not sure if it's the right thread, but wanted to report a bug in multiplayer.
We played random map, XL, 2v2 and a player1 tried to defend a castle of player2 on the same team, but the game stopped for both, the attacker (player 3) and the defender. The towers did not attack for the attacker, the catapult did not attack for the defender (yes, it is written correctly). Both players were stuck waiting for opposite team to act. The only solution was to exit by Alt+F4. Used latest hota with HD+ mod.
Also, player 4 was already eliminated, if that helps.
