I believe this thread is more suitable, as it refers to 'normal' and critical bugs (not just critical), whereas the other thread is for graphical issues.
If an object is misplaced in one map, then it's a bug to my eyes.

Maurice said: Thanks for the pointer . I assumed that it was for graphical issues though, but I may have been put on the wrong footing due to Hippox' contributions in that thread . If so desired, I can put the map error there as well.
Now, now. Actually, there's been some posts about map layout errors in there too. It could be done in both threads, so whatever, I say.

Hero-1 still has 1000 LMP (hidden) and 2500 SMP currently. Debarking costs 500 SMP, so 2500 SMP - 500 SMP = 2000 SMP. Now we have three factors yet again, 2000 SMP (a factor of ~0.533 of his full SMP) and 1000 LMP. We multiply 1000 LMP by 0.533, and so we'd have 533 LMP left.
It s look a little bit too complicated for a strategy game. I agree with the overall idea and it s common sense to switch LMP and SMP percent - so like you, in first time, i would compare the movement points remaining on each ground (land and sea). After read your example, i think as a regular board game player and it s appear a bit complicated :
my question is simple, why SMP and LMP should be "ratio-linked" ?
and by the way why don t only use the SMP movement, which is interesting us.
If a hero is going by sea then debarks, i would stop his movement. In all other case, i would calculate his movement with the SMP and not with the LMP.

Sweet news, I'm very exited! I bet a lot of people is going to feel the same way.
@malax83
I had some trouble understanding you completely. Anyhow, I think you asked why I pondered on the idea that land and sea movement could/should be linked by some sort of ratio? Well, if it was not, couldn't you potentially move too far in one turn? That is, if you could combine both pools of movement without a conversion rate.

I'm very curious to see how they plan to buff those secondary skills - surely there'll be a lot of discussion going on about them!

Well, there's already been a lot of discussion about secondary skills, of course, and there's really not that many new clues on what the upcoming changes could be, yet. The change to Mysticism could just be a buff to the numbers. My guess about Scouting is that they'll possibly add a new element to it since they're changing it again.

Ehh.... WTF?? No, we are not. There was no major work on Forge recently. We've just collected our previous thoughts into one thread and sealed it with a note: "'till better days".
I hadn't checked our FB page for a while, it still lives kinda independently. It will become even more official, when core members of the team will redecorate it a bit and start to moderate all content

What about the update about changes to some of the existing skills, Nik? That's the news that I was personally exited about, at least changes concerning Mysticism and Eagle Eye.

Yes, the next major objective is global rebalance of skills and spells. That's not for 1.3.X for sure, but we have it on closest plan

Because movement points represent how much a hero can move in one day.
Suppose Crag Hack can move up to a maximum of forty squares on land, and up to a maximum of twenty squares at sea in one day. Also suppose that it is decided that embarking will cost 25% of your movement points.
Now, if Crag Hack travels twenty squares on land (50% of the day spent traveling) before embarking (25% of the day spent embarking), that means he'll only be able to sail during the remaining 25% of the day (about five squares at sea) before the day is over.

I didn't counted them.
It's just killing game. OK. Will make necromancers weak. Then go make barbarians weak. Then all will be weak, and multiplayer will turn to snow.
Life here is ruled by certainity. Even if you get "weak" faction, like Fortress, you can already hire hero of other faction and win. That's a game called HMM3.
