What is the correct chronological order for HotA story?

IIRC HoMM 1-3 goes in this order:

Heroes Chronicles: Warlord of the Wasteland
Heroes Chronicles: Conquest of the Underworld
Heroes Chronicles: Revolt of the Beastmasters
Heroes Chronicles: Master of the Elements
Heroes Chronicles: The World Tree
Heroes Chronicles: The Fiery Moon

Of course, Cove fraction is representation of Regna Empire. This Empire was mentioned in Might and Magic VI, VII and VIII. Young Sir Christan was there in Foolhardy Waywardness campaign (Armageddon Blade). First Cove campaing is during Kreegans occupation, so I place HotA's timeline between RoE and AB.

I think that it's taking place during AB, becouse in Hota second campaign on mission one in introduction it says that Duke Boragus was killed by Kilgor during the fesival of life, also when it comes to the first campaign, it could be taking place between RoE and AB. It is possible.

black and white... but this is out of the question, since it would take like years to get into this matter, coz of hardcode.

Here are some proposals;

Counter spells do neutralize each other.
Making mass spells, more expensive.
Town Portal and Dimension door are used only one per round.
Cloak of the Undead King raises Wraith instead of Lich.
Remove Berserk.
Increase the damage of some fire spells.
Decrease the price of Phoenix, Earth Ele, Pit Lord and Archdevil.
+1 damage and speed to Zombie.
+5 hp to Pit Lord.
Increase the weekly prodoction of gog and cerberus.
Making Imp/Familiar flyer

I am trying to learn how templates Works. Sometimes I créate a rule for a building to appear in a zone, but sometimes rmg fails to créate it and the map is "ruined". Can RMG be improved to ensure that always rules are achieved?

Necropolis

Just witnessed THE Necropolis game and remembering some discussions here decided to share before it's expired from twich. Standard XL+U template (6lm10a), no Thant, no Vampire dwells, no double-build. If you want a hook before watching - just peek at the main army at the end of third video - around 25:40 (the game is unfinished, it's 1-3-6 there).

If you're one of the people not understanding how Necro is still considered a top-dog on most templates or if you think necromancy is weak nowadays and one cannot get a skeleton powerstack, that's a video for you:

Problem with map password protection

When one player start multiplayer game with map password protection other can copy autosave and open it on another computer without first player password.
HoMM3 HD 5.0 RC15 with HOTA 1.5.3
Is this intended behaviour or just bug?

Thank you Avatar, for the link to the template format. Now I think I understand some of the reason because of what some of the rules I set for some zones werent always accomplised.

I have a doubt about nix forts. I set a rule for just one dweling level 6 to be created with the máximum frequency so I ensure that the dweling is created and that no more that one appears. But when cove is the castle, two forts are created one big and other smaller (different building picture). Is it a bug or is it intended?

I just noticed mt_Jebus allows 2 DD with exp air. When did this change happen? It's not reflected in the multiplayer rules.

Yes, it is a bug. You can disable nix fort, then open template in text editor, find the formula of that nix fort rule and delete one half of it. Thus only one nix fort will be disabled. It is safe to open template in template editor after that.

2 DD is prohibited on mt_Jebus. Probably the Tournament rules option somehow went off.

Ok, I figured out my mistake. I watched vod of Stinger vs LuckyF  on mt_Jebus with Cove, and saw Stinger use 2 DD. Then I tested myself Jebus XL, only 1 DD allowed. Tested mt_Jebus and 2 was allowed. So I made the post.

I now realize that they did not enable tournament rules. I also realized why in my test, 2 dd were allowed. When I switched template to mt_Jeb, the size stayed on XL, so I generated XL+U.

The map size code for L to XL is

9 = L
16 = XL
18 = L+U

When you switch from map size XL(16) to template with size L-L+U(9-18), the interface thinks that XL is within that range and won't force toggle the size, which allows you to generate the template as XL(or in the case for mirror templates, XL+U). But when you switch to a template that only allows L or L+U, the interface will force the size selection off of XL.

Thank you Sav. Will the bug be corrected in future releases?

Two more doubts:

I think there is a bug/problem from original game about castle gate being blocked when a defender stack is killed in front of it. Am I right? Is this bug going to be ammended?

It Will be posible in future to créate mirror templates for 3 players?

Recently i wanted to make mirror templates by analyzing h3dm1 but it seems without a proper text editor and some knowledge ( like how exactly "x t(number) t(number±1)" border guard stuff is working) it is almost impossible. Could you at least tell us where to find a proper editor which both puts columns right and doesn't corrupt save file?

Try opening the text file with MS Excel
