Overall bloodrage looks cool and fitting, but might over magic is broken lol

edit: Buffs looks a bit too strong though, since they are all party wide. It will depend on how easy or hard it is to maintain the buff I guess.

I'm not feeling the Bloodrage skills sofar. The balance is all over the place.
Might over Magic doesn't sound all that useful since there are no actual caster units in the game so that means no direct damage SPELLS untill you meet an enemy hero. The units only have abilities, no spellbooks.
Bloodlust sounds borderline OP. Especially combined with Father Sky's Fury. I have a terrible feeling H7's stronghold will be H5's Sylvan army when it comes to turn 1 annihilations.

So, uh, is there any particular reason why Expert has 9 charges? I mean, they drop per 2. Why not put it down to 8 or raise to 10 and then simply divide the number of counters by 2?

I think that the attack of the unit is increased by the value of the bloodrage, maybe +10 was op. I might be wrong though.

I saw the other way, it also means direct damage spells casted by enemy will be very weak til the buff runs out.

~ 20-30% would be more reasonable I think. Maybe scaling with mastery (0/10/20/30)

I really like how bloodrage potentially adds a lot of strategic options - whether you should wait and lose 2 additional bloodrage points to gain better positioning etc.  Bursting rage is I think clearly the most interesting skill amongst the bunch.

Well until they are not a playable faction its like they dont exist. But it gives a big chance they will appear in the expansion

descriptions seems to suggest that bloodrage is tied to stronghold heroes only and any creature regardless of affiliation can make use of these. that's good

I do not know how this racial compares to the rest just yet but I can tell that:

1) Bloodrage bonuses are ridiculously high. At +9 the attack bonus is +45% and at +12 at +60%.

2) Assuming a unit does not wait or defend, expert bloodrage will last 5 turns and master will last 6 turns. For the above massive bonuses. Moving on..

3) Rush is tied to bloodrage duration. A +1 passive boost to speed. With a might faction under bloodrage. I hope you remember how ridiculously broken aura of speed was in H5. Sylvan charge, half enemy army left standing.

4) Might over magic omgwtfbbq. Even 20% would be way powerful.

5) Bloodlust at expert is like a fully leveled leadership and even more powerful on master. With one ability point. Best bargain ever?

6) Father sky's fury because we can't get enough bloodrage. Why add a duration?




Realistically speaking, duration and bonus should be reduced. Probably by a lot.

Suggestion: Attack bonus at X/2, rush restricted to the first 1-2 turns, might over magic at 15-20% and bloodlust at 2X max.

It's clear BLoodrage is supposed to give a huge advantage at the first couple of turns (and increased mastery should increase duration) so i don't have a huge problem. Long battles are simply to be avoided but i agree the bonuses might be able to stay too long and there appears to be little in the way of counterplay. still, once the bonuses are gone they're practically gone for good.

but all the actual skill descriptions say all friendly creatures including for the base skill. I suspect that's just there because OMG, LORE!!! and they've actually understood that lore has no place when deciding what does and does not receive certain bonuses.
