Who is "people" exactly? The gang here? Come on... How many persons is that? They have to show that this game has history,and it has. Look at final fantasy. Or any 10+ year old game...
If i was a new fan i would definetely look at this game with more interest knowing it has a history. (Yeah yeah nomatter what nasty surprises ubisoft has in store, we are talking about marketing)
They need more fans. They have to market the game. You don't like it. Boohoo. How many times are you going to say the same things over and over again?
When anyone with a slightly positive view of ashan or the game, didn't get ganged upon by the usual suspects? When there wasn't an actual conversation between people who like the game and want to talk about it, that didn't get derailed, trolled? Why some people have to make it hard for others here? Because their views are more valuable? This here happens in almost any forum but why not ask those questions?
The fact that limbic is on it from the start till the end,without having to change devs, gives me hope this game will do better amd better. Just waiting to see of we actually get beta 2.1 on release(i still have the logic to understand that we are indeed talking about ubisoft here and there is always a possibility for disaster,but it's not that certain anymore).

Because if we made it soft, we'd have less than a game. Why do teachers have to give their students tests? To show much they know. We don't make it hard because we want to see them suffer, but simply because some things are not acceptable. Fine, some things are set in stone, but they still have the time to change what isn't. If that isn't a good enough answer, then you may expect a lesser game than H6.

in case you still dont get it, it's not "why do you have to make it hard to the devs" it's "why do you have to make it hard for the people who like Ashan AND POST HERE"
And even then, to apply what you said, a centralized thread for criticism (and factual criticism not "lol devs are retarded by putting this skill wheel" and "lol spiders we're funny and smart and hip") would be easier than snowposting everywhere.

And they are. But to be fair, i think most of us just use "Heroes" (and that's probably why they changed it in first place)

If they wanted to disassociate themselves from the series they should not have used the terms might&magic or heroes. No, they wanted to take advantage of the franchise, just as I would have wanted.
