God forbids that Necropolis is made something other than gothic spires with bones. It's funny because WC-influenced or not, the Necropolis has actually one of the most coherent designs from an in-universe perspective. I'll actually create a thread about that later.

As I said before it is easy to jump on the "big bad evil company" bandwagon. Yes, there sure are a lot of negative aspects that apply to a lot of big companies, and even a lot of negative aspects to the release of MMH7, but I will take the position of "wait and see what happens". Even though there is always talk of disasters this and disasters that, it may be that the overall result is better than what pessimists are expecting. It may not be ideal, but I'm sure we'll work out some reasonable resolution to this situation as time goes on.

I'm not saying that it's our fault or something, and not that Ubi doesn't deserve this. But now we acting like a bunch of morons. No one want to deal with morons, you know.

Its called voicing your concern as an adult via getting a refund, not pre ordering from the company again or outright not buying their products
Insulting a developer via spider eyes edited and all host of other non sense is not an "adult" way of voicing complaint over a product. Heck what I saw there was simple bullying.
What happened on SC was pure immaturity taking hold and I don't support or condone it because well... as someone said it makes you look like a moron.
As lion said if ubi sells the rights I am not sure any company would want to "inherit" this community. I mean it's already driven good members away and if they are getting treatment like that over a game I say let heroes die and burn.
If it was me in the position of the collector's edition issue? I would simply take the digital copy and never pre order from the company again or I will fight for a refund and only pick up their games when numerous people I know played it and enjoyed it.
What happened on SC is pure idiocy and childishness taking hold and anyone who supports it I view them the same way now.

Sure. On the other hand, we, as customers, hope that whoever gets the hands on the franchise won't lie to customers nor try to sell an unfinished and shoddy product. It might spare the relationship.

They initially refused refunds and the only reason they came back on that was precisely because people at SC, Reddit, Imgur, etc. started protesting so vehemently. So as far as that goes, the actions which you reproach them brought about that fair outcome in the first place. In regards to the caricatures, they are no less illegal or defamatory than the ones you see on the streets during protests, or in some cheap pamphlet.
Seriously, stop with the Ubisoft defensive, the real victims here are the customers. There has to be a limit to how disgusting this type of bias and fanboyism can be.

The `developer' is a moron with an average IQ who calls Ashan "his baby". He almost destroyed the franchise, one has to be indeed an *amazing* idiot to not use the help of this *amazing* community. I really hope to see a heroes game with the AI of quantomas and the graphics of King's bounty...

Right, because companies buy rights for the community..  Yes there are troublemakers but can you claim that they are more than most other communities? Better yet, can you claim that ubi did not give them the ammunition they are firing?
Ubi has shown time and again that they do not understand the game or the community. They have all the information they could ever want and all they had to do is ask. I do not believe that the average fan should have a say in balance or creature lineups but what about the core features? The ones that make or break the game for them? The ones ubi has messed up two times too many?

The trouble is, even if H7 was more or less bug-free, it still wouldn't be the new Heroes game everyone interested in these games needed and wanted to play. The game would still not be more than a quirky footnote in Dead End Street.

At least the would be less number of negative reviews, considering some of them complain about large bugs. Bugs can be solved, but gameplay issues not so easily.
