I think we got random skills because it was still in the works. As I remember, it was said, on twitch, they can consider fan feedback on that subject. And they did.
They said no such thing for line-ups except for sylvan and dungeon which were open for vote.

This. All the nagging may have pushed it, but only because they was open for it.

Haha, you wish. It will stay the way it is. It seems they dont want to change necropolis much from how it looked in H6. But hey, at least toxic green colour is gone.

I'm most likely the only person that actually likes the fact that necro looks bad. Not that it looks evil bad, just bad bad.
Why??? So most of those necro fan boys will just stop.
Necro in my eyes has been falling in likeability since H3. I loved it in H2, the H3 stated to overpower them. H4 just screw them up. H5 made them ok-ish if it was not for some OP mechanics again. And H6 just made them Haven with the different paint job. Not helping how ubi must push them in EVERY game (as overpowered as the game allowes it)
Maybe now, people will see that this is not a good faction, and that we would be better without
(or I should stop listening to Zero Pun. for one day :-D)

I'm reading in here since a while now and yes...
this thread is based on overreaction it seems... 
On the other hand it's good to see, that the people actually care about this franchise so much.
What I don't understand is all the per se negative comments. Everybody is just complaining (mostly about - in my eyes - peanuts). There are just a few people which seem actually happy with the new game.
Or is it just me, who sees it that way?

No offense, mate, but as far as I'm concerned, there is no Heroes without the Undead.
No matter how they have changed (or not) over the years and into each game in the series, no matter how bad or good are they implemented each time, they are my fav faction --and I tend to think I'm not alone in this...
Personally, I'd never buy a Heroes game missing Necromancers.
