not to my knowledge, I thought "Darkstorm" and "Solymr" were the typos, not the other way around

Of couse not two Heroes games, but I want to recall another one old summer job vocation of Limbic, unfortunately I didn't make screenshot, there were Senior Gamedesigner with Survival games experiense. So, I think it is DM2 or some...

I doubt Erwan would say that the future of M&M RPGs is uncertain while Limbic are developing MM XI.
World of Ashan? Well wouldn't a M&M MMO be a fantastic idea, lol.

- AAA PC/Online
- Extensive experience in designing levels for strategy games (TBS, RTS)
- Limbic latest works are Heroes 6 and M&MX
- There has been literally ZERO news of MMX since the release. No words about a second patch, second DLC or anything.
I think it's pretty obvious
How come so many people got it right back then and you didn't?

Sometimes, when people jump to conclusions, they jump to the right one.
The reason conclusion-jumping is such a common mistake to make when reasoning things, is because sometimes it's actually correct.
Also, they were looking for an unreal-3 back then. They are looking for unreal-4 now.
Surely they must already be working on Heroes 8 or maybe even 9.

You saw it as jumping to conclusions while all the rest saw it as a reasonable prediction. And guess who was right after all.
And this time around we don't have enough info or the right context to predict anything. One thing I dare speculate is that, with the RPG series at a halt and Heroes 7 still being in production, it might be that the contractor isn't even Ubisoft (not for M&M at least).

We did not have any different info back then. Then we knew they had worked on M&MX and possibly still were. Now we know they work on H7.
The one and only difference is there was Radio Silence then and there isn't any now. If that is enough grounds for you to call any wishfull jump to conclusion a reasonable prediction, fine.

Interesting news. I don't think it is a new Heroes game, as that would be extremely unlikely (but not impossible). A sequel to Dark Messiah seems more likely, since it was hinted that they wanted to make another one (that and Clash of Heroes, but that wouldn't require Unreal 4).
