I anticipated that argument. Sure, you can say that there is a slight blame put upon Limbic in the process, but it doesn't stop at that nor it makes it the primary purpose. Far from it. And in the context of "real blaming" that happens on the blog or even here towards Erwan/Ubisoft, that's like comparing a brainstorming session with a protest or worse, a riot.
So yea, if we're to pursue the most strict path you could eventually get to the point where you could say Limbic is being blamed. But I don't think people go there, they just stop at the disappointing townscreens themselves and work towards constructive criticism from there, without blaming anyone.

And that is all I am saying. That it doesn't stop there and it is done meaning well, does not change that there is some blame.

That level of blame is so minuscule I bet people don't even realize it. And compared to the blame Erwan receives it's just inexistent.
Furthermore, it might be that the Townscreens are outsourced projects, so not (entirely) on Limbic's hands. Maybe Jaelle could tell us more?
