Same here ... tho, on other hand, Steam makes things realy practical (also cheaper in some cases), to buy from. GoG aswell. Still ... I do miss the sense of "ownership" CD's gave you.
It could be a problem with todays games. Well, not todays but games get generaly biger in size, so in future, they would need to come on 5 or maybe even 10 DVD's or so ... or blu-ray (which again is a questionable investment at this point). This was same with floppy disks. Some games came on like 8 floppies ... I had Doom on 4 (but lost 2 of disks ). Later same thing happened with CD's and now DVD's.... In future this will not happen tho, as the sky is limit - so I get why hard media (hard media? LOL Idk how to say it) is dying and replaced by digital media.
it would be interesting if games "hard copies" would start to be shiped on Flash drives :-P

So, she's not human? Not even half-human? She simply looks like one. I was wondering until when humans will be meddling into other races business. ^^ So I guess she's simply a beautiful orc. Guess that could happen. *shrugs in a panda-ish way*

GoG is way better than Steam. The only time you need internet connection is when you're downloading the stuff, never slows your games down cause it's updating itself or other stuff, never shows entirely irrelevant popups of "achievements" and "trading cards" you've "earned".

Sent a message to Hermes about where the Steam page for Heroes 7 could possibly be.
Can no longer find the pre-order page for Heroes 7 that is required to register for the early access to the public Beta of the game.
Must have encountered serious difficulties of their own, regarding the distribution of the online beta game.
Good to see that it is at the playable stage as of this month and season of Spring of 2015.

Yes, I saw that but somehow she doesn't look as Imani from the picture for me... maybe if I see a comparison like in case of Daleb's picture...

That's true. From GoG you do get more classical feeling of owning and playing games. But so far I have positive experiences with both. I rarely buy brand new games tho, mostly on Steam sale... GoG usualy does not have newer stuff tho, unless they are indie games and such. I do like no DRM they come with aswell. I have H3 complete edition from GoG as well as original on CD, and I must say, GoG version is realy good, as it feels like CD version, with no CD required. What Steam has, is better selection ... and well ... that's important.

Remember also, she actualy sees quite well with both eyes. Eyepatch is just a fashion item. It's got tiny holes ... a see-through eyepatch, like the one you can buy for a haloween costume ... a bit more fancy tho.
It's also a stage costume. Those spikes on armor and stuff I mean, if you look closely they are made from plastic and rubber. Imani is actualy a Stronghold pop-star. Kinda like Lady Gaga, and is here in her stage outfit.
And you taught she fights like that .... hahahaha ... haha ... ha.. ha
Well actualy ... if she sings like Lady Gaga, that's prety dangerous weapon
