Not always. It dosen't have to do much with computers as with Nvidia product naming. With Nvidia, naming goes like this ... untill they change it. first nuber is generation ... nvidia 300, 400, 500, 600, etc series. Everytime new series is introduced, a new "hundereds" number is selected. But each new generation is not neceseraly that more powerfull than previous, tho there is a bigger "jump" between some. Then there is "teens" number ... 550, 560, 570, 580 etc .... or indedd 630, 650, 660 etc. in 500's the 590 was the most powerfull card. It was replaced by 690. I have no idea what will happen after 900 series. Generaly you are safe, if you compare the same "teen" nubers of diferent siries - compare 650 with 750 etc. Tho it does not always work like this because of technology leap.
This means ... Nvidia 480, is more powerfull than Nvidia 630. Because 480 was higher end card ... the first one is in the 80's, while the second one is in the 30's, and it coseted more aswell. 
Now things get even more complicated, when you take into account technology advancement. So if you buy let's say Nvida 760 may very well be better than earlier nvidia 480 card, even tho the new one costs less than 480 had, when it was new. Now I'm talking out of my hat here, and this might not be the case, but just to give general idea.
I have no idea how ATI gfx card naming goes. Generaly you don't need to even consider this. Just pick a card within desired money range .... say 200$ ... or 100$ whatever you want to spend, and then check some models. Then google those, to see reviews and comparisons and you will get most bang for your buck

Eh, never pre-ordered anything and never will. It is just the hype with few extra items that raises the price of the games by couple of dozen euros.
It's not like the game is unplayable without such content.

Pre-ordered the CE. If my pc lacks power to run the game, I'll start saving money for extra powah. At least I now have secured geek-fantasy merchandise. Ivan will get a nice place in my room.
I can already hear my sister..."NEEEERD!"
Worth it. Totally, completely worth it.

Hi!
Does anyone know whats the deal with the Thieves Guild building? It seems to be separate from the Hall of Heroes. Previously they were combines as a Tavern building...
This makes me wonder how does the spying actually work in this game? It even seems to have its own icon in the townscreen toolbar (that little Jawa-guy) which makes me think it might have something more to offer than in the previous games?
Because if its the same as before then why is it separate from from the Hall of Heroes? If its the same, then the separate building needs to be very cheap in my opinion. It already wastes one "building turn" and the info it provides is not that necessary in my opinion. A nice addition to tavern but would a spend time and resources on it? Unlikely...

I wonder what those "four artefacts" are that you receive as a pre-order bonus. There are no more Dynasty Weapons, so that can't be it...will it be like in H3 that you can decide to start with either extra gold, extra resources or a random artefact, and that this screen also shows those four artefacts?

I have a question about the new trailer:
The might haven hero has red cape like in the concept art:
but the other he has blue cape and other things in this color, just like the color of his banner
so my question is, ever class has different model/colors or the hero clothes change the color based on the chosen faction color ?

I forget how it was it the previous games cause I never use it. But in the demo it just gave you info on other heroes and would have more detailed info if you got more thieves guilds. The info was just who had the strongest armies, most resources, most mines, hero level and class, strongest creature.
Would have made a better adventure map building imo.

This is exactly how it was in the previous games. I feel that having thieves guild as a separate building is just silly. It costs resources and a one turn of building... Would have been better as an adventure map building just like you said.
Kinda disappointing. I thought that there would be some interesting spying mechanic because it had its own building and icon in the toolbar :/

It might be something like making available more artifacts when playing normally (bigger artifact database when distributing or when map making - only your maps will have those artifacts at your disposal). I can't make much of this feature just now because I cannot refrain myself from yawning.

I don't think so. To me it sounds like an access to unique artefacts, either a bit like DW's or not. If no info about that is given until release, I have a long time to wait to find that out.

The waiting is typical.
The way it works is bound to many interpretations, sadly. As we know it won't be an online-only game, or else, the way these bonus artifacts will be given sounds eerie. Multiplayer-oriented ones could bring some 'unfairness' if they give bonuses to players with a deluxe copy; but yes, it all depends on how this feature works.
The funny thing, if any, is that from the list of the stuff I read from the deluxe copy, this is the one I would be most inclined to be interested. The rest is ... very far from my taste, even if I happened to be interested in the game. OST and the likes are more of my taste. Physical stuff often get in my way or I have problem carrying about when I move.

That may go for H6 too. Some editions, including pre-order bonuses, contained special heroes or Dynasty Weapons (like the Staff of Asha's Eightfold). Said staff is very powerful when levelled up, and only exclusively avaible. That way it could also provide a somewhat unfair advantage. However, many in-game available DW's can be pain in the snows too, so that may compensate a bit. Now that the DW's are gone, though, special artefacts may indeed be an overall unfair bonus, depending on how they are implemented, what they can do and whether or not they will be single-player only or also MP. Time will tell.
Well, I kind of like the contents of the CE, plus I voted for them (although the Flag didn't make it, and eventually both the Soundtrack and the Prints were added instead of one, I voted for the Litho's). And if I have to move about, I'll just put everything in the box again. It won't take up that much space, I hope. Speaking of contents, a map of Ashan, either on cloth or a poster, would have been nice too.

Polish translation of Heroes VII right now is a complete disaster. Brute is translated for "Wild", "Haven" was misunderstood with "Heaven" and some other words got a truly bizarre translation... I really hope that the translating company will be changed or otherwise I will have to face with stuff worse than in Heroes III, where Firebird was named Thunderbird and had the same name as true Tunderbird...
