More suggestions:

Quick buy-all button for creatures in town,

Stopping the time delay for ones actions; for example the delay when going into battle, buying a new building, or using obelisks and other objects on adventure map ( no need for their information popping up on the middle of the screen, better if it can displayed in the lower right corner ).

less importantly:

ability to click away the creatures from the last creature stack of a hero (to some other hero or town), save only one creature of the stack a hero got to have (without using ctrl and then changing place of the rest of the stack).

fixing town view bug completely; they fixed the main deal after I posted in bugs, but there is still posibility to see how many resources current player has by going into your building hall and checking what your opponents can afford.

Basically this is all from the heroes complete hd addon =)

Suggestion if possible:

I would like to see the battle animations sped up. Like in Tournament Edition (WOG).

I would also put my vote in for the replay option on quick combat, or even disable quick combat option when attacking. I like to play games fairly quickly so I try to use quick combat a lot, but the AI tends to lose important troops when I don't expect it to or I forget to turn of quick combat for important battles.

Again Great work and thanks, regardless of any future updates, I am in your debt!

Thanks a lot for the suggestions everyone. Not all suggestions can be done immediately and specifically graphic changes will probably not be done until after 1.0. But here's a start:

* Added HD Edition hotkeys for swapping/moving all creatures and artifacts in hero trade screen (Q: swap, 1: move to left hero, 2: move to right hero)
* Added HD Edition no sound delay fix (currently part of FPS option), removes delay when sounds are played e.g when buying hero or entering battle
* Added HD Edition move last stack fix (currently part of hotkeys option), when moving last stack in hero trade screen all except 1 creature is moved
* Added HD Edition hero trade screen ctrl/alt (+click) hotkeys for splitting/joining stacks

I am busy tomorrow and possibly monday so I cannot make an immediate 0.81, but some time later this week it will be released and will have at minimum the following:
* Separation of no sound delay fix into own option in GUI (there are advantages with this when it comes to future compatibility)
* Czech/Chinese version compatibility for latest features
* Bug fixes for reported bugs

Until 1.0 I might do some more suggestions but also focus on improving conversion and the current features. Then after 1.0 more suggested features can be implemented.

The hero trading features can in future versions be more like HD mod with easy to use buttons, but at least the core functionality is in place now so people who dont mind using hotkeys can use them.

To make it clear, the hotkeys for hero trade screen are:
Q: swap artifacts/creatures
1: move artifacts/creatures to hero 1 (left)
2: move artifacts/creatures to hero 2 (right)

Thanks for the fix however I don't know if this was intentional but when you enter a battle the music that plays first cuts out and skips directly to the battle theme and starts the combat immediately (Which I actually don't mind, the faster we can get into battle the better!)
and the overworld music sometimes doesn't start or starts later.
Also when picking up resources/entering dwellings sometimes it's very quiet, sometimes you dont hear anything at all and sometimes it's perfectly fine.

Could we get that buy-all button/hotkey soon?

Thanks for the feedback. With the No Sound Delay it is intentional that the battle starts immediately, the various other sound issues you mention are probably the result of the SDL mixer channels being re-used, will look into that but it could be a bit tricky. Regardless, the No Sound Delay checkbox can simply be disabled in the h3mtool GUI to disable this functionality if it is deemed not worth it in its current state.

Buy all button/hotkey is a bit trickier than one might think, because of the different costs of units, but since several people have asked for this here and in the steam thread I will look into that and replayable quick combat. However it will be a while before the next update as there's very little time available for me right now.

One thing is still pretty painful to do, split stacks evenly (HD mod does that with the Shift key)
Could you pretty please try and squeeze that in for the next release?

Ubisoft released patch 3 today in which they amongst other things have integrated my mouse lag fix, i.e replaced their cursor rendering with system cursor.

Haven't had too much time with it yet, but so far I haven't found anything broken.
Could we get a option to lock the mouse in the games window so it's easier to scroll when windowed or if you have multiple monitors.
Are you working on the buy-all hotkey or are you mainly working on the replay combat button at the moment?

Last sunday I moved to the other side of the world (northern Europe->Japan) so I have been very busy which will mostly continue for now.

Since I have been busy I have not had much time to work on new features, but I actually have mostly implemented re-playing quick combat results at will (using hotkey Escape). It currently works but causes crash when entering towns, so I cannot release it yet. Interestingly, I also found a way to make the autocombat button in battles resolve the entire rest of the battle instantly. Again, I have very little time currently, but when I do have some I will be working on this (mainly re-playing of quick combat results).

Hi,

Firstly, thanks for the awesome mod! =)

The RMG Templates, could you give any description to these as to what the differences are?
Are there any templates that are made to best support multiplayer matches, 1v1 1v1v1 1v1v1v1 etc?

Most of the templates you get with the HD mod for Heroes 3 SoD/Complete are designed for tournament play (1v1)
They are all different, for example the Jebus cross one fills the map with resources and dwellings so you can get a huge army quickly.
And as always with the rmg someone will always have a better start so if you want a really balanced map you'll need to look into user created maps but those get boring really quick imo.

You can check out these template diagrams. Lines are connections between zones and numbers on them represent strength of guards separating those zones.
