don't make statements about anything i do that aren't true.
i'll be making my own castles(and anything else that needs done with this and every other project, including my Fear town) with 3d once i'm out of college(or sooner, if i have the free time).
right now, i'm focusing on completing my latest object patch release, before i go.

Talent is something that can't be achieved, it's more whether you are born with it. I think you meant skills  Anyway you already have great eye for 2D map objects so I think you will be more than fine.
Anyway if you decide to use Blender I can help you a lot, provide some basic models, scene for rendering and stuff

This is not the soil. It's 'ground' defs like - for example fiery fields or lucid pools - and are available in the latest fred object patch for ERA.

not true. i haven't released anything from my forge project(at least, not to the public. i've given axolotl some creature sounds i made, since he made some of the creatures i'm using).
avatar is correct about the ground, though. those are terrain patches; not actual terrain. they wouldn't blend well if you were using 32x32 tiles.
