Which one of them?

The red one was more of a gangrenous tumor than a demon arm, I guess I still got to work more on it. At first I wanted to make a "blade"-arm or a hook, but then I thought it was gonna be too similar to the cyclops, so I went with a big claw.

So, I'd like to release a version of the mod next week, so here's the changes I have decided to make so far for Version 0.5. So feel free to point out what you think should be changed/modified, I . I won't include all new creatures for now, or depends if I chose to delay it.

*note: for all creatures the exp and cost has been increased/reduced accordingly to the new stats

Haven
+ Paladin/Crusader replaces Swordbearer and are small creatures
+ Paladin Stats are 20 attack, 22 defense, damage 40-45, hit points 150
+ Crusader Stats are 22 attack, 25 defense, damage 50-55, hit points 180
+ Paladin/Crusader costs reduced to 2600/3000 gold and no special resources
+ Paladin/Crusader has growth of 2
+ Paladin/Crusader gets Dark Resistance
+ Crusader gets new ability "Aura of Retribution", nearby allies are enchanted with Retribution spell

Necropolis
+ Spiders get replaced by Zombies/Mummies
+ Lamasu gets replaced by Haunted Armor/Cursed Armor
+ Ghosts get replaced by Wight/Wraith
+ Blood Dragon replaces Ghost Dragon
+ Zombie stats are 4 attack, 4 defense, damage 3-4, hit points 35, Initiative 10, Speed 4
+ Mummy stats are 5 attack, 5 defense, damage 5-6, hit points 40, Initiative 13, Speed 5
+ Zombie/Mummy gets unfettered ability
+ Mummy has 100% chance to cast basic Weakness on attack
+ Vampire/Vampire Lord gets downgraded to level 4, 10/10 attack, 8/9 defense, 45/50 HP, damage 8-12/9-12, costs adjusted accordingly
+ Haunted Armor is level 5, attack is 12, defense 16, hit points 70, damage 13 constant, Initiative 20, Movement 7
+ Cursed Armor is level 5, attack is 14, defense 18, hit points 85, damage 14 constant, Initiative 22, Movement 8
+ Haunted Armor/Cursed Armor gets "Incorporeal" ability, reduces physical damage by 30%
+ Cursed Armor gets "Damned Touch", dispells all enemy blesses on attack
+ Lich/Archlich promoted to level 6, gets 15/17 attack, 14/15 defense, 15-20/18-22 damage, 5/6 movement
+ Lich/Archlich gets Death Cloud ability (hex of disruption + area attack)
+ Wight/Wraith gets regeneration
+ Wight/Wraith gets incorporeal ability
+ Wraith loses vigilance, but gets Soul Flayer ability
+ Blood Dragon loses Soul Flayer, but gets "Plague Bearer", casts poison spray on attack
+ Blood Dragon gets "Fear" ability, always enchanted by Face of Fear
+ Blood Dragon's changed stats are 28 attack, 22 defense, 75-85 damage

Dungeon
+ Shades get replaced by Cave Spider/Grotto Hunter
+ Stalkers get replaced by Beholder/Evil Eye
+ Striders get replaced by Griffin/War Griffin
+ Shadow Dragon gets replaced by Red Dragon
+ Cave Spider's stats are 2 attack, 1 defense, 1-2 damage
+ Grotto Hunter's stats are 2 attack, 1 defense, 2 constant damage
+ Cave Spider/ Grotto Hunter gets Withering Venom ability
+ Beholder's stats are attack 4, defense 2, damage 2-3
+ Evil Eye's stats are 4 attack, defense 3, damage 2-3
+ Evil Eye gets "Fiery Eye" ability
+ Griffin stats are 12 attack, 9 defense, 16-18 damage, movement 8, Initiative 30
+ War Griffin stats are 14 attack, 9 defense, 17-20 damage, movement 9, Initiative 36
+ Griffin/War Griffin is now a flier, gets "Diving attack"
+ War Griffin gets "Tirelessness", enchanted with basic "Lighting Reflexes"
+ Minotaur/Minotaur King gets "Bash" ability
+ Minotaur King gets "Feral Charge"
+ Red Dragon's stats are 25 attack, 25 defense, 55-65 damage, 10 movement points, 40 Initiative
+ Black Dragon's stats are 35 attack, 30 defense, 80-100 damage, 12 movement points, 40 Initiative
+ Red Dragon gets Dark and Fire Immunity
+ Red Dragon gets "Fiery Rage" ability, grants 15% chance to cast firewall on attack
+ Black Dragon gets Magic Immunity and "Burning Rage" ability, grants 25% chance to cast firewall on attack

That's all for now, maybe I will delay it to finish other towns too. Maybe some of them are OP, but idk I'm not that versed in h7 mechanics, but I think the new stats and abilities may spice things up. Just found out that's easy to add certain new abilities which I had no idea I could

Dude this sounds so awesome!! I'll take a closer look at everything and how it compares this week. I'll be happy to give any feedback when the mod is released.

Necropolis sounds friggin awesome and happy to see the lich is taking the tier 6 spot again! Or I guess I should say 2nd best tier since h2 had only 6 per faction but ya get it.  Just a quick note - necro had the only non walking melee tier 6, unit diversity is a real issue in h7 lol. So idk what the plans were for the other factions but we could use a flier or two in a tier 6 spot. Love the change though I didn't like vamps being so strong.

Dungeon...this is wonderful. The AC mod did help but it didn't do anything with the strider. I don't even buy their dwelling I hate them so much lol. The price of blackie will need to be steep because he sounds really strong the tier 7s in this game already cost a lot so it'll probably look crazy lol. (Btw Do we get Galaad's new model?) griffin stats could be nerfed a bit all around imo. And I'm assuming they all keep the hp of the unit they're replacing??

Crusaders ftw!!! maybe up their movement from 5 to 6?

Thanks, I hope I can release it this week, still got some things to do and maybe if I add more features like other heroes with new specials, it may take more.

Well, Necro now has the only top tier shooter, no? But it's true that diversity is kinda nonexistent in heroes VII, perhaps I can add Faerie Dragon as top elite in sylvan, so we got a flier caster/shooter. Some units are still subject to changes, that's why I posted them there to get some feedback, so some of them won't keep the hp or other stats of the creatures they replace, blackie HP will be upped and hydras may receive some boosts or perhaps a new ability to still be a viable choice. And yes, the new blackie will be in The griffin could be weaker, perhaps 10/11 atk, 8/8 defense, 9-10/9-11 damage.

If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to share them

Not right Galaad!!! Not right!!

AcidDragon did manage to give some more flexibility to the game with his mod. Not many have the skills of Lizard in here. He did what he could with what he had.

Hmm, should I also add sylvan to the 1st version? Mainly replacing blade dancer, deer and the old emerald dragon. And perhaps Ogre/Ogre Magic, but what should he replace?

If you included slyvan in the first version that'd be great. The less time with Bambi the better  not sure what the plans were for stronghold so my opinion on sylvan may change but I'd like to see a tier 6 flier for one of the two factions. If wyverns switched spots with the basilisk rider then I think stronghold would do just fine without an elite shooter so I'd say replace the ogre magi with the centaur. A harpy replacement could be cool too, not a fan of them.

Fairy dragon gets my vote for slyvan but maybe it should be a champion? Or if you were planning to add the Phoenix then an elite fairy would be great. Can Move the treant down to tier 4 or 5 (or 3 )and turn it back into an entangling tank. Unicorn is always welcome. I don't think a Pegasus rider would be very doable. But I always loved them in rampart such a good addition for that town.

Any opinions on this?

That line-up could work, but I'd have to delay Version 1.0. So, whatever people like more, Sylvan or earlier release. Currently I was doing heropedia artworks and icons, but I can switch to Sylvan creatures in no time.

There's the option to just add the new Emerald Dragon model and release the mod, then go on and re-work sylvan.
