Well, they really buffed defense alright.
Everybody and their mother runs around with a 4d templar now, which is very hard to beat.

The Draconic Templar is VERY strong for defense and I highly recommend everyone to hugely farm for it.
The quest also has this small touch of RPG like in the White Wish one where you get to choose some stuff, in this one you can choose more tickets, more gold, more tokens or more gems. 
"Appeasing Poppa"... Appeasing players yeah

maybe I am just prejudiced cause any time I see random attacks I puke a little in my mouth. Also he seems rather squishy. I have several squishies and I hate em but I just keep getting more squishies so I am stuck with them. Maybe I will try this squishy over my other squishy and see how it goes.

So, that's one excellent and one very good summon you got there.
When I read that right next to my complaint about squishies it makes me want to slap myself in the face. Ya I will give this guy a shot. Probably make bosses a lot harder but I guess bosses are easy anyway. Its lvl 1 that gets ya and he should do well there since he can survive a few hits from LE or DT.

A 4 dot legendary and complaining! Shut it princess 
Also: theorycrafting how to easily beat 3 wave dungeons:
Step 1: fully evolve and awaken a wisp but leave it level 1 (it triggers special when it dies which supplies 60 mana IIRC)
Step 2: bring a fire giant (or phoenix or other fire boss)
Step 3: attack with giant once, wisp dies in the round likely and feeds 60 mana tp red creature
Said creature should have special up now to nuke the templar. Now i only need to farms wisps

Never to me either. I have seen ticket idols, diamond idols and common idols drop from chests or directly as a map event.
It might be thanks to the patch.

For sure that happens to me from time to time, never had these random box offers you can buy with tickets from some merchant? I always buy them. Sometimes you get crap other times better things. Rare idols can appear randomly on the map (though more rarely) too and chests used to give me diamonds idols as well (actually got both my Stego and ArchMage from there), but these it has been a while I haven't seen. It happens when you farm same map many times a day manually. Rare but happens.

I always buy those too and always the more expensive option. I think I did get a diamond idol once that way but never a color idol. Same same I guess, near as I can tell both types are equal odds except one is a specific color.

Actually it's the first time I got a color idol instead of a diamond one, but maybe that is specific to the Poppa quest I do not know.

Only 40 mana. There's a guy named mana wisp that uses this strategy haha

Sadly I recycled all mine cause I never thought of this strat so where can I farm those only good for dying SOB's?

They took a heavy blow (like many others) and practically disappeared into the void. They are at 10/40 and hardly competing at all.

Well, if some are reading this thread, HC Kreegans is currently recruiting fans of Might and Magic games, which I bet WoG members are.
Maybe time to join forces?
... We're currently 12 Kreegans, hey, the bright side is I could get some orbs and get my x8 on Watcher.
