This update does it for me.
You can remove me from the guild.
Stegosaurus is made weaker while the Phoenix keeps the same.
NO energy spare update, so you still lose many energy, every update in there is to get more money from fans, as they now all want to get bronze, gold and silver...
VIP updates and prizes, the good become better, the bad become worse.
The battle tower was good as it was, now I have to put energy into EVERYTHING at the same time. No good for me.
Too much competition isn't good for my heart.
I quit the competition play. I will play for fun from now on. Without guild, or at least in a guild every week. They probably kick me out everytime, but I don't care anymore.

I think VIP made this game possible so far as for this creature you need to have done a major investment. I'm as salty as you but without them the game wouldn't even had this update sadly.
I think you can get it by recruiting 10 friends?
@raks, i understand your anger as you are a 'victim'. But let's be honest, the phoenix was a joke compared to stego.
I think the battle tower is nice although i miss the farm bonuses but at least you get some guaranteed goodies. Sorry to read you plan to leave, I don't want to kick you as you been a great participant, but if you don't want to play the challenge anymore at all keep the honor to yourself and step out, and know theres always a spot when you change your mind

I'm still going to play the same, but these updates make me think you guys want to play even more competitive, I can't keep up with that with my current team.
I never lost to a stegosaurus ever, I lost to Phoenix a lot of times, because my entire team is cursed with fire something, then when I attack they instantly die, and my Siren can only heal 3 at one time and you always make an attack with ALL your units.
So Phoenix is unfair in my book, I want it to kill itself, it makes my blood boil at many times, same as Hyena, which is more powerful than most boss creatures for some reasons. All other boss creatures are fine for me even my hated Paladin, which is a joke with stun.
I still play the dungeon challenge, I won't be playing the battle tower, and as I understand correctly the battle tower becomes also a competition worldwide? Or did I read everything wrong?
How do you get those prizes? Do I have to put my friend code here? And when 10 of you guys accept my friend code I get the prizes? Or do I have to collect new players to get the prizes?

Stegosaurus is (sometimes) bugged. There are players we know of who seem to run a bugged stego, who crits a forest giant for 40k. This is way out of league and not in line with the stats/description either.
Rak, wait and see for yourself if this actually impacts you. With the greater essence as a reward for tower, you can bring yours to level 105 and run a powerhouse defence.
Timing is rather bad for an update, that I agree with (too much events around at the same time).

What does this worldwide thing mean? Even more competition or not?
And what does this gold, silver and bronze leages mean? That I don't have to compete with Stickers? That I have my easy time with a bronze leage? Or that possitions 1, 2 and 3 now get all the fabulous prizes and that hard players are still mixed in with easy players?

This update is awesome, what the hell is wrong with you.
Battle Tower: So what if there is a semi-PvP function in it now? The rewards have NOTHING to do with the previous ones, 140 diamonds, 3 small essences, 1 greater essence, one of this new type of Idol that grants nothing less than either an Epic or a Legendary, 3 prismatic orbs, 3 diamond idols, 200 tokens, 100 tickets, 3 tickets idols... Every ******* week and no matter your score. And you tell me you preferred the occasional 3 or 5 tokens or 3 diamonds? Sorry but I don't understand. Then ON TOP of this you can get EVEN MORE extras with the semi-PvP but really, if you compare to previous battle tower, EVERYONE is gaining MUCH more from this.
Dungeon Challenge Tier: Again, if you suck in dungeon challenge or jus t started playing you still get an opportunity to win something worth your level, when before you really had to play hardcore if you wanted to stand a chance there? Damn it guys, when I won the Phoenix it was only for top 3 back then, and that was it. Then they give to top 25, now if you miss the Epic creature you can still get a very good rare, just how can you guys rant about this?
VIP rewards: So you think the f2p will get awesome rewards but not the payers? What kind of logic would that be, how to go bankrupt 101? You know what, I love this game and I play it everyday for around 4 hours, so I am glad to give something to the developers: there, I gave roughly around what I paid for Heroes 6 which is an utter piece of garbage. VCME certainly deserves some support because the game is freaking brilliant.
And yes, you can get a Legendary just by INVITING friends, 4 friends a 4 dots Epic, 10 friends a Legendary Idol, what's wrong? Someone was saying Legendaries are only for p2w? Oh that's right, VIP will get a few more, are they NEEDED for competition? Clearly not, I think we have some guild members who showed the opposite more than once.
Raks if you want to leave you can but IMO you are a great guild member and I would be sad to see you leave, please stick around for a while longer and reflect a bit more on this decision?

Ok I will stay, but don't get mad if i'm forever stuck in bronze competition :-p
I was just emotionally mad because of the stego-update and because of the no-lost-energy-regain that so many people wanted. And I really don't like this VIP, as I can not even pay for the game even if I wanted.
And I didn't understand quite a few things.
Did anyone already beat this new tower thing? is it hard? Is the energy-cost high? I was afraid that I have to choose between the battle tower and the main events now, because energy limit.

Battle tower 50 is so freakin impossible. Maybe with a phoenix u can beat it... Stuck at 2/3 on stage 50.. if stage 2 is dat hard i dont know what stage 3 will be like...
New update is awesome.. just hope u can still farm battle tower with x2 drops or something..

Ahh this makes me sad, really not looking forward to these extreme difficult things for greater essences.. it will be extremely frustrating by the sound of that!

49 is actually easier... The fireballs no longer insta kills...
Main problem on stage 50 part 2 are the fairies that explodes after 15 turns if you dont defeat them.. im not sure but its around 200k damage
