Nah it still shows but it's limited to once per day (and always was I think?). You need to have 0 coins left for it to trigger though, it's after you use your last one that the pack appears.


Odd for past 2-3 days i didn't get it. It certainly didn't work when i spent it to 0 via quick quest. And some other tries as well. I sort of struggle to activate it. Hope its not another "we didnt change anything" tweak to incentivize more crystal spending, specially with quick q option.

Ah, maybe it doesn't work with quick quest then (haven't tried to get the pack this way), but if you do the quest fully and only skip the battles or in the battle tower it works all the time, maybe it's 10 coins a day that grants the pack, but spent individually. The quick battle seems only worth it to farm creatures, it probably goes hand in hand with the lower drop rates... For the rest of the loot (gems, totems, it's a too small portion to be worth investing in IMO

Finally managed to trigger it.   Seems there is some more hidden triggers than getting to 0 but at least now it works now.
Getting pretty frustrated by new drop rates though, out of 4 runs , just 1 elemental. At this rate getting 4 dot will be tough.

Yeah I'm not sure 100% how it actually works but it works. I do it kinda instinctively and always trigger it.
But AFAIK is not more than once/day.

4 turns and 1 LE is pretty good though, I have done that level more than 30 times (including quick battles) and I only have 2 light elementals this far.

it is insane, I kinda gave up on the elemental and just collect small and medium creatures now of 3 dots and 4 dots.

There is something strange about this quest though, i always get the two ravens that are within the gravediggers battle (wave 3, with the gravedigger boss) in the LE quest. I think this is some kind of bug? But a bug I like, I get lots of ravens now, but always 1 or 2 or 0 dots though...

Well no, the game in itself is still genius. It's the $$$ strategy that start to worry me since latest patch...

A "tweak" is not changing a drop rate from 50% to 5%... and supposedly they are denying changing it altogether? Afraid to put off new players I assume who will have 10x the difficulty awakening their epics.

I noticed that as well. Sometimes it triggers at 2 or 1 coin, still seems slightly more complicated. Still bit frustrating when you reduce to 0 and there is offer, then its either shop or you wait for tower mission.
On epics I agree. It creates huge division between new and old players.To compete in dungeon you simply need awakened epics, simple as that. If its unawakened, vs awakened, then we know who wins, and it creates huge polarization of players. Also i think it will backfire. For example people will get frustrated and will simply wont see farming those creatures as viable option. I have gotten to near endgame, so only upgrades for me are some epic awakenings and more bosses . Second one is luck based and its not something to look forward, first one now is frustrating to get, so in all honesty i feel WAY less drive to play. If before i played for almost all free moments of day, then now i just  quickly do dailies and maybe waste energy on QQ. Its not some sort of protest or whining against nerf or that i will now have to playe harder, its simply that game is less rewarding and less attractive. I can sit in game for all day and not progress for another centimeter, that's not something that can incentivize playing.
Fine I understand devs need money and monetization is controversial in mobile gaming, but there is always features that can be added , not just taken away with no much to show for.

Thanks for this great tip, Galaad! Currently I have a fully awaken LE with soon to be 2 fully awaken ravens for resurrect, for wave 1 of my 3 wave setup, and people just don't seem to want to mess with my dungeon.

This allowed me to get close to 4k prestige, so soon I'll be applying for a spot in HC Kreegans!

Exactly - well put.

As for the coins the only reason it wouldn't trigger is if you already bought it that day.

I think there is an irony with the game becoming more PvP oriented while there has been no improvement whatsoever on dungeon defense. 80% of ATK rate being considered awful with 40% DEF rate being considered decent to good should speak by itself.
Drop rates were perfectly fine before and reducing them reduces the fun somehow.

4 weeks of the new battle tower now. Did anybody get a legendary out of the mythic idol?

For me it's only been epics (3 2d and 1 3d)

Sadly another recycled map but I guess for seasonal events it's alright, what I would really like though is more "default" quests with completely new map, and creatures that you can catch varying, to give back some appeal to single-play.

Yesterday I farmed Battle of the Bards quite a bit and got Muses and Clurichaun almost every run.
Also I appreciate that totems show up once in a while in the market now.
Ah seasonal quests giving totems are very good, I can't wait for one giving HP totems to come back though.
It's also good to get the basic fragments on higher difficulty randomly, I'd like sigils too.

Finally the Sphinx looks gorgeous.

Yeah the mummy was quite funny

ALso I want to state that I think if you encounter the gargoyle as a monster on the map it seems drop guaranteed, which will at least give newer players a new guaranteed rare to farm which is nice (and the gargoyle aint that bad either). I agree that a completely new map would be great

And new CH forum possibility huh? Pity that website is blocked from my working place so can't look right now but will definetly later

I'm in love with that Sphinx, I really want one, just for kick!

And finally it happened! Some pay-hero member of avengers killed my entire group with his Light Elemental 4 dot + raven combo without me killing a Freaking SINGLE creature, I died the first wave, his light elemental was bugged? He could do his ability twice in two turns, slaughtering my team...

Light Elemental seems really bugged, and much too powerful.

What do you think about Griffin? Personally I don't see it to be much useful. At 3 stars is +15%ATK anyone level it to 5 stars?(how much +% ATK has at 5 stars?)

If you're interested in Griffin's stats at 75:
HP: 6200
PWR: 1150
ATK: 1784
DEF: 1150
LUK: 1784
MP: 120

Special: attacks 6 random targets for 50% PWR, +25% ATK buff for the team.
