Lots of quality of life and bugfixing updates

However, I still wonder when will the recolored monsters and their portraits be replaced by default stuff like ghost behemoths is just sad, they are just whiter regular ancient behemoths...

Agreed, imo ERA should just focus on providing a stable modding platform for SoD/Complete, with none of these bad-quality WoG additions.

This is what ERA3 does. A pure modding platform. A little bit of old WoG stuff remains in the installer but can be disabled.

Don't confuse it with the assembly. The assembly aka H3 Launcher adds more content. Also new portraits for most of the lvl 8 creatures if iam not mistaken.

2.9 version showed bug.. I can't play without existing DLL.. I don't remember what But I can't find in a folder.. Ok I'm waiting for the next update..

EDIT keep a alive at ACM, Difficulty Mod, etc plz, you said those are junk due to Assembly.. I was at my mom's.. 2.87 worked well.. Ok then meet again here, if I've a comment, etc

Hi Ghost,

if something doesnt start you can try to repatch with the launcher. It will redownload most files.
"I can't play without existing DLL" this error was not reported before, you sure it has to do with launcher?

ACM and Dif mod were separated to facilitate the development. In principal nothing has changed, just you need to activate each mod now. The junk files are safe to be removed, unless you have made custom edits that you wanna keep.

The objects get replaced once the map was created. They replace other objects already placed on the map. You can specify exactly what and when should be replaced. I wrote the scripts for that (WoG does it the same way with many objects). Actually, you can create as many Creature Banks and other objects with that method as you wish. Just depending on the object you replace, the AI won't interact with these. But it depends.

Ok yes Launcher installed and I pressed "Play", but

Assert violation in file 'D:SoftProgrammingDelphisourceSRCERAGameExt.pas' on line 148.
Error at address: $5ABD24A.
Message: "Failed to load DLL at "C:GamesHomm 3 ERAERAPluginsbattlesave.dll

I tried to remove a old battlesave, but it doesn't helped also I can't find a ERAPlugins..

Ok I'm waiting for the next version..

Dragon Utopias are all the same. I can't see any objects from TUM Manual or New Spells in Mage Guilds...

The placing of TUM objects must be enabled in the WoG options.

Unfortunately, New Spells is disabled when used together with ACM, and currently not stable when running together.

I chose repair, and it installed, and I went to play, but the same message came..

and have you done what you should do already?
Disable one mod at a time and try to start the game until you identify which mod prevents you from starting the game.
After this procedure, we will have more information.

Also try to repatch.

Edit: Plugins are placed in the respective mods folder
For example:
D:GamesERA3 AssemblyModsGame Enhancement Moderaplugins
or
D:GamesERA3 AssemblyModsWoGEraPlugins

One more idea, maybe your antivirus kills that file while downloading. Happened before. Try to disable for a while

Repatch or other way, I can't do.. But my computer style in testing, repair, etc What I can do.. Ok I cutted to remove battlesave.dll and moved to desktop.. Yes I can play now.. Then I'm hoping you know what's the bug.. Thanks!

My BS sensor is tingling again

Hi, itís been a while since I played Era and I see there has been many updates. I normally use a Mac but have bootcamp for old PC games such as this. But I still use Windows 7.

Are these Era updates (and HD mod as well) tested and compatible with 7 or is it considered ancient now?

Era was quite bugless back in the day, will it still be so on Win 7? Should I update?

I have no experience with Windows 7, maybe someone else can say something.
But I guess there is no harm in trying ; )
