Missing WoG rules + crashes on second tab (NULL) rules.

Hey! I just learned about ERA2, I'm a WoG veteran, played WoG for many years - a long time ago.

So let me start by saying THANK YOU for this ERA2 build, seems great!

There are two rules I miss from the (original?) WoG rules, which are the 1) The posibility two build twice a day in towns (in general speeding up the game a lot, which I liked).
2) I always play on difficulty "Imposible", to get as hard an AI as possible. But starting with 0 in all resources is a bit tedious. So there was a WoG rule, I think it was called "Starting bonus" resulting in maybe 5000 gold start and maybe 10 woods/ore.

I cannot find these WoG settings in the WoG menu, neither when I start the game.

Also in WoG settings I only see four tabs on the left hand side (screenshot here), but I think I've seen some image here on the forums with tabs, but in Russian (I don't speak Russian unfortunately).


And when I go into the second tab there seems to be broken rules/references "NULL" screenshot here. And If I hover any of these null rules, the game crashes.


And after the game crashes I see this error dialog, screenshot here.

And a crash log is produced, before I paste the crash log I can (see Edit)


Here is the HD_CRASH_LOG file that gets produced after game crashed when I was in second tab in WoG settings.

I also zipped the Debug/Era folder if that helps.

Okay, looks like you have not installed/activated wog scripts mod.
Where did you from get the assembly and how did you install it? There are all the scripts which you told im my build.

I got it working! Hmm insteresting! Starting "ERA 2.9.10 Start Menu" -> "Mod Manager" where I played around a bit by disabling/enabling some scripts.

Now my settings in Mod Manager looks like this see screenshot

Which finally resulted in in game WoG settings looking like this:

Yup. You can easily extract the red-eye Dendroid from earlier ERA or HotA.

A bug I found - Replayable Battle plugin is not compatible with Skeletons with Artifacts (Option 882). The reinforced skeleton will become normal version after denying the quick combat result.

Btw, would you consider replacing Split Decision from the 2nd page of WoG Options with some other scripts?

I wanna replace split design a lot of time, cause it is deleted) but i don't know which script i can place. All your scripts , which you showed, are existing in the assembly

Hey! I get an error dialog after having played around 1 month (see screenshot), an another showed directly after (see screenshot). The same error dialog is displayed around 10-15 times (equal to the number of enemy heroes having 10 primary skills?). The game does not crash, I can just click YES (take memory dump) many times.

I think I know the cause, based on the cryptic error message, seems to mention secondary skill. There were many different options all relating to being able to have 10 secondary skills (instead of standard 8). I think I've enabled all of these, let me try to identifiy them.

1) MapRules -> MapRules(right): Heroes get 9th-10th skills - True
2) Era Scripts 1.41 (part1) -> Custom Scripts: Maximum Secondary Skills - True
3) Wofify Settings -> Game Enhancments: Display Hidden Skill - True

and under Mod Manager I have both "[GAMEPLAY] 10SSkills" and "[INTERFACE] Secondary Skills Scrolling" enabled (see screenshot)

First, let me just say that I appreciate A LOT all your help and how fast you are at responding as well. Thank you!

Bah, I too am sick, sore throat is the worst. So can play ERA2 all day without bad conscience .

What do you mean "it is fixed now" and "you can find IT in the ERA2 thread", what should I be looking for? I'm sorry for all the questions, so much different moving parts here/components. Is it an update of ERA2 itself I should be looking for? Or is it an upgrade of a suite of Scripts (I see the number 1.41 in WoG settings menu). Or is it an upgrade of a specific script itself? How should I apply said patch... And also isn't the ERA2 thread hundreds of pages long?

I found that in the game integration package you provided, the real daily income of the kingdom can be displayed correctly in the town interface after the upgrade of Miriam by the congress. May I ask which script plays this role?

This is the Algors'feature in the 33 wog - castle upgrading.erm (wog scripts/data/s)

also there is limit in the 32 k gold for each town

On the Chinesse forum you use 5.0 hd mod -
What fixes did you make for this? Or you play without comfortable features of it?
Also i would to get your'assembly variant for cheking new intreface and other features - maybe i will take sth for my build

Well, so I upgraded my HD mod to 5.0 with your build. So far I really enjoy the new version. I always get a bunch of crash logs on my Windows 10 with 4.208 (upon exiting ERA). But there is no issue at all on 5.0

Another reason for me to stick with 5.0 - the new OpenGL Mode. It makes my game smooth like MoP with 60 FPS patch. I just can't play H3 without it now

The only drawback is the "save all day" feature. It no longer puts saves into separated folders. Tried to tweak it but no luck.

Also you lost folder manager, turn view, grid on adventurer map and other.

Anyway for windows 10 users i made a screenshot of needed hd mod graphic settings for evades crit crash when game closing.

Hmm, maybe i will make hdmod version switcher inside, if it is possible.

Anyway can i take a look on your build? I couldn't find any links. I'm not good in the scripts so I'm in search of any interesting scripts and mods.

I stripped script 33 apart and replaced the original file and found that it didn't seem to work in the game.Does this script have linkage Settings with other scripts?

Yes, I use 5.0 HD Mod,The main thing is that I didn't seem to have any major problems with this version of HD Mod, so I just used it.

In fact, my version is based on ERA2.9.10 and HD 5.0.Our main work is sinicization, including interface sinicization and text sinicization.So, are you still interested?
