Is it so hard to believe I am a hom3 fan and found this forum, only to stumble on this read, then read it entirely and felt compelled to make an account because you all are chasing squirrels instead of actually delineating?

Welcome 
I would definitely recommend to stick to topics related to the game series or otherwise fun offtopic discussions instead of anything controversial or debatable, it's never been more than going in circles here apart from a few specific cases.
