HOTA already added a Vori town, called Bulwark:
I don't think that there's any point in doing the same thing again. So to not waste your graphics, maybe you could go back to the idea of making an H4 mod? It might be a right thing to do because there is only one king of H3 modding - the Horn of the Abyss mod.

HotA actually made sure to make things as diffirent from DoR as possible, so people can enjoy Vori in both.

Quick reminder: some posts here clearly cross forum rules.
You may want to edit or remove them before Corribus takes a look - he tends to be... efficient.
HotA and DoR are separate projects with different teams and goals. Players can enjoy both without turning this into personal drama.
Let’s get back to discussing Heroes.

I cleaned the thread and will echo Galaad.
For the record, it wasn't just Bulwarkishere who was breaking rules. I penalized Bulwarkishere for a post that clearly broke the Code of Conduct, and I gave him a brief break to cool down. For the rest of you, let's try to keep it civil and on-topic. I don't like the rush to call people trolls, and but even if it's an appropriate description, you all know the worst thing to do is feed them... particularly because people who feed the trolls often become trolls themselves.
If you feel someone is clearly here just to cause trouble, send me a PM. I do (try to) check in at least once every few days.

Is the DOR Discord open or closed? If it's a open - is there a link to it anywhere? If it's a closed - how does a random troll have access to it?

If playmaker does 100% story then what's the point of doing the same thing twice? I don't think you understand.. I meant all objects, creatures, artifacts, etc to 100 percent! So the question isn't correct.. Thus others can try.. Ok I'm using Launcher, if DoR is available, I meant Launcher.. I will play it.. FirePaladin  you talked true..

DoR doesn't have a public discord at this time, so if you're referring to the screenshots from yesterday, those come from someone trying to pass themselves as a DoR team member on the Pumpkin patch discord.
Edit: and for clarity's sake, the person from those screenshot does not in fact have access to our dev discord.

Likely there should be an update soon-ish, tbh. At least, there will be a DoR article about DoR in the new CDA release, apparently.
Also, April 1st is relatively soon, so...

Happy April 1st!
We are glad to announce that the storyline of DoR has been moved to Might and Magic! This is done so it doesn't muddle the Heroes experience for casual and competitive players alike, letting you focus solely on the gameplay aspect of the new factions in H3, and allowing you to immerse more easily through MM.
In Might and Magic, you will explore the wild, frozen wastes of Vori, its stalwart and eternal cities, and meet all kinds of peoples that inhabit the island. Through Stone City’s old tunnels, you will be able to reach Old Tularea, and, following Ethric’s path, you might even visit a totally different face of Deyja than the one you remember… All in a classic, retro RPG!
And if you find all five tree rodents, then you might be able to reveal a special location after a few days’ rest, too.

Every April 1st, we try to make a rather ambitious joke. Oftentimes, we want to offer the community something cool to see and enjoy, like the H4 joke, or the MM one from this year. Something that you would have likely not seen in any shape or form, otherwise, because those games are not popular enough, and unfortunately nobody is interested in making new content for them. It might be a bit painful to see such concepts not being real right now, and we know that, but think of it as paying homage to such underrated gems instead, and as bringing attention to them.
These screenshots are also mock-ups through and through, but the sprite renders are real. As we found out, rendering MM sprites is actually quite easy. And with that, who knows… ; )
In the meantime, however, DoR development continues. In fact, one of the MM mock-ups above even uses most of an existing DoR cutscene’s environment.

There is an active project for MM7 making one part of this (Vori), although a different vision of it.
Anyway, one squirrel is in the third image, from the viewing perspective right of the einheri by his shoulder. Another squirrel is in the first image, on the left under the leftmost tree whose trunk is visible.

One a bit to the left to the Palace castle from the 3rd screen.
One near the foot of the right hill (to the left of it) on the 1st screen.
And the last one is on the fourth screen, to the left of the left brown tree.

Any news about a possible release of the project? I was really hoping that DOR will come out before Olden Era. Are there a lot of stuff left to be completed? From the teasers we get things look amazing and to be honest mostly finished.

If the remaining work is mostly fine-tuning—balance, gameplay, etc, then releasing a beta could actually speed things up by bringing in broader feedback.
