China "sanctions" are fake news.
One sanction however will make a difference, it is Taiwan's chip and hi-tech exports. All other sanctions are worthless, Russia doesn't care.

Yeah. Only thing I read is that China isn't happy about the way things shaping up in the Ukraine - which can mean a lot of things, but they are, at least, pro-negotiating.
It LOOKS like this war might be somewhat costly for the Russians. Netherlands decided to deliver 200 Stingers to Ukraine - if they reach their intended destination, things might get very ugly indeed. France is also at it. And the Russians aren't attacking full force.
In short, it's pretty unclear what everyone actually wants.

We are taught that the line is drawn when someone uses physical violence. The bad guy is the one to use physical violence first. Over time though, I started disagreeing with that. Some examples can prove this wrong. A guy can have his life ruined by a false accusation of rape. A police officer that gives a testimony against another cop ends up harassed for decades, if not life.
Russia has been painted as the bad guy for decades. False flag assassinations were done, people poisoned and blamed on them. We taught them to just go "screw it, it doesn't matter anyways we'll always be the bad guys no matter what" and now they don't feel bad when using physical violence
In it's quest to look like the good guys, the west has developed many strategies to ruin people's lives without having to use physical violence, and Russia stopped playing that game.

... Okay but have you considered that the Russians are protesting this unprovoked attack against a nation filled with their relatives and friends? Because the common people and newspapers and journalists and humanitarian groups of Russia are, and they're being arrested by the ruthless dictator's police force for it.
If this is some false flag operation against Putin, then why doesn't his country back him? Why is he acting like some crackpot dictator if he's a benevolent overlord? Why do his political rivals keep ending up imprisoned or dead?

Joining countries to NATO is not an act of violence but in practice, it doesnt function much different than an invasion from a military point of view. Some even say this was the NATO (U.S.) move to provoke Russia to attack and force Germany’s hand to outcast them, since they are buying Russian gas.
I’d also believe there are many Russians against the invasion, in countries of millions, you can find thousands of protesters from any point of view and point out “look, it’s how the public feels.” It may not be fake news but it’s cherry-picking to say the least.

You know, just google the Budapest Memorandum. Then check that against the Crimea annexation 2014.

That’s before the 2014 crisis, after that, all cards were on the table. Not joining NATO officially was a technicality at that point. I’m not saying Russia is doing good, go Ivan, go go, btw. Just saying I can understand how a lot of Russians think they were the ones being surrounded, it’s not unbelievable news to me.

No. 2014 crisis is RUSSIA breaking Budapest Memorandium. BLATANTLY. You can't guarantee borders based on a government (which is what Russia claimed).
Russia is the aggressor since 2014 - note that their Crimea annexation hasn't been recognized. They were not surrounded. They just broke a treaty.
