I was already all-in on the hype, with the demo and closed playtest being so damn enjoyable, this announcement is pretty much the cherry on the cake. There's literally no better person to have as a creative advisor than the CREATOR of the entire series.
In unrelated news, it seems like Sylvan has been renamed to Grove, which is pretty interesting. I don't mind one way or another, but it's probably a smart choice, since the faction seems quite different from its earlier revisions.

Beta is done, not the game. That's some difference. 
He probably joined once he realized that Unfrozen is taking the project seriously, unlike some of the previous releases.

That, he is a shining example doing all that, just because he enjoyed gaming with his friends Even if he hadn't created homm in particular, this is the kind of mindset homm needs. And I'm curious what he will have to say about the various aspects of olden era, both the good and the bad.

I'm sceptical. JVC decided to sell NWC to 3DO which wasn't a great decision. Nor wasn't he successful with the stuff he did after 3DO. His vision after selling NWC were online game worlds and later mobile games. He refrained from HoMM IV design, left it to others.
In short - he wasn't interested in more HoMM after 3 plus expansions.
Which means, I'm not expecting anything with regard to serious input.

Yeah I remember but JVC went bankrupt.. Sold at a ridiculous price and paid off the debts.. But JVC hasn't sold WoG.. UbiSoft tried to buy it.. Maybe later JVC agreed to sell WoG.. I read in a gaming magazine.. Also his biography told how he made "Might and Magic".. But related fantasy, etc The story is too short in the g. magazine.. Ok his 3D was white and black coloured.. So he invented stories and later on Might and Magic that it after HoMM became..
H5 is meaningless, thus many players hoped, and H5 came.. But game isn't a continuation of the story.. Think about another game, movie, etc.. It gets back on.. People buy it.. I think if UbiSoft takes his unfinished H5 work.. And UbiSoft makes it.. And battlefield, etc are back on H5.. But UbiSoft never listened us..
How? HoMM is based on Might and Magic.. An example I made Magician, Warrior and Master, maybe you can't find my hoping is The Mandate of Heaven, so I cut Pyramid and pasted to MWM map.. I didn't know MM8, or unclear about MM8.. when Adrius said HoMM must be continued in MM8.. But now I haven't a negative or positive.. I always do the opposite in general.. If you noticed.. An example good Eagle Eye.. But now I'm disagreed with HotA.. Yeah you need Eagle Eye in the Spirit of the Game (HotA)..And we go to back on negative and positive matter.. So all is ok.. Fine!
