This may not be as friendly to the individual users, but more to the community.
When someone deletes a post, all of the words should be deleted and replaced by "deleted message". Deleted posts do not show yellow stars, or avatars, so they're small. This way when I read threads with deleted posts, I can see roughly how the converstion went, instead of comments on something I don't know wheather it existed or not. Then once a post is in deleted status, mods can entirely delete it (like it does now). Then you can see where people lost QPs, and I can understand conversations the had Xarfax111, etc.. in them.

in those situations where members are discussing and debating different point of views, i think that the members should quote things.
u cant delete a quote so even if the original member deleted thier post, the quote a few posts down still exists
so i say just quote stuff when debating

I'll think about deleted posts "pending deletion", so that's a potential maybe.
In other news floodprotect has been improved - now you can go to post or edit page and type, you just can't submit until your floodprotect runs out. Members with 0 or more QPs can submit edits free of floodprotect.
There's a new restriction for members with less than 3 QPs - they can only make 20 posts per 24 hours. This will encourage thinking and reduce spam.
Another restriction is made to reduce flooding: a member can only make 1 new thread per 10 posts that he/she makes (their first post on HC can still be a new thread). This does not apply to Honorable (QP rank) members.
These new restrictions will also keep newcomers safer from posting too much and getting flamed for it.
Edit: some balancing. The 10 posts per 1 thread restriction will now not apply to Responsible (8QP+) members.

I daresay that because of the limit of posting without having 3 red stars per 24 hours, many members will get folly and will soon react... I refer to those spending their time in the Wastelands. Yet, I do agree that this is a vital thing, so as to reduce the SPAM. IMO, the amount could be increased from 20 to 24, so they would be able to make ~ 1 post/hour.
Another thing that worries me a bit is that restriction with threads. Maybe I misunderstood something here, but AFAIK only one new thread in 10 posts may complicate things in future - the release of H5, I mean. There will be many new threads referring to favorite creatures, and they may be made by the same member. I do not think that it should be limited that severely. Also, I'd say that if you're not willing to change anything concerning frequency of new thread posting, I'd suggest to lower the QP restriction from Honorable to Responsible. It does not actually matter if it is lowered, but it concerns me a lot. I am not a frequent poster and I post rarely, but if I somehow thought to create two threads... for example, two threads in Glade - a OOC thread and the gaming thread... I would have to post ten posts before I could do that.
Correct me if I am wrong, but that's the way I understood things.

I think it's a great addition. Since seeing "what is your favourite creature", or "discuss creature (insert name)" in whole forum with 0 replies is frustrating...

I think that for the 20 posts in 24 hours thing, it is good, but i spend some of my time in VW and I dont get to make anymore posts even though I want to, because everyone is replying, I cant.
Maybe you can lower it so that you only need 1 or 2 qps and then it wont effect you.

I don't think that happening... It was made to make members who spamalot choose where they want to invest their posts. Either wastelands or normal posts in normal forums.

Well how about a thing where if you post in the Volcanic Wastelands then your post count will not increase.
This could be because VW is a SPAM topic and spam shouldnt have your post count be increased.
I think this would be good.

on the profile page
there are some members who have 0 QPs or less. but because of various reasons they have recieved -QPs aswell.
now when you visit the profile pages of these people, you cannot see thier bonuses page
for example

now the page is still there its just that there is no link on the profile

another example, william has had a -QP and a QP giving him 0 QP ranking. but now there is no bonuses link on the profile page
would it be hard to get bonuses on all these pages?

Maybe there is a chance for it to be like this:
2QP = 30 Post Count Limit
3QP = 31 and above.
Also like what Lord_Pc says, place bonuses and penalty for everyone to view. Some might want to see what did the person do to get a -qp or a +qp. Hope to see this changes.
