yeah I know but they are not proper crusaders they should be called master swordsmen as they start as swordsmen. Real crusaders start as paladins. The crusaders in heroes 3 are not worthy of the name.

Crusadars are normal peasants in armor that have a sword....
No magic at all....
Paladin are well traint fighters that even have magic and aura!!!!! So they slash those stupid peasants/crusdars same thing to me... Paladins are MUCH stronger then crusadars....
Same like a green dragon to a azure dragon........

Homm2 and knightlyhood.
Well in Homm2 Crusader was a strong unit. Now the Crusaders aren't peasants with swords and armor, but highly trained warriors of the kings army.
See they are strong in Homm2 and in histrory.

Actually, crusaders were usually peasents WITHOUT armor and usually WITHOUT a sword.

Crusadar and paladin are the same....
Only the paladin has magic which makes him stronger then a normal trained mortal crusdar without any magic...
The paladins without magic are very boring to me........

Ever read of crusaders in books? They are somewhat stronger then palidins (magically, we are not talking real life here, besides, palidins don't have MAGIC POWERS in real life either). Crusaders and palidins are basically the same, but a crusader is more of a healer. Palidin is more of a fighter. But both are equally strong and could do massive damage if you know where to put the specialties. But crusaders do have one power (in magic world) that palidins don't have that ultimately make them stronger. In many myths, crusaders ARE known to resurrect the dead, something that a palidin could never do. Crusaders are also known to get things known as orb of power, which is that, when they kill something. An orb of power that the creature had (every life and power of the creature) will be transferred to the crusader who killed it. Palidins do have mystical auras... mostly to protect and enhance the fighter in combat.

uh, no.......
Excuse me, but crusaders were not healers, they were just Chrisains trying to get the holy land (Jerusalem) back from the Muslims. They were mostly peasents and merchants with NO intention of healing anyone what so ever and only went on the crusade because they got promised by the church that they would go to heaven.

They weren't pesants. Well some were, but most were knights like knight templares, frank knights and others. Yes there were some pesants, but most of the army was knights and or skilled warriors. The crusades were a crazy thing, and there was no real achievable goal, but there was a point, yet unrealistic, but there was one. No it happedned that the crusadrers got ahold of Jerusalem(holy city), but fights and dissaorganization cost them. Try reading a book about it.(i mean it in a friendly way.)

Crusadar sucks because....
1 they are the strongest in homm2 WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE
2 they can never beat a titan....
3 they look boring
4 they are humoids
5 they are looking the same as paladins but havent got any magic
6 they existed ones. Every other creature are from fantasy.
7 they just so boring even a peasant is cooler.....
8 they are to fast in heroes games they must be very slow in al that metal.
9 arc angels are so fat damn cooler than the crusadar...
10 they are just stupid
11 I did a test with the game 2 attacks from 9999 scorpicore and bye bye 9999 crusadars so they are just weak.

You are right about that they did capture Jerusalem, but they only had it for a little bit before the Muslims took it back again. Yet again I must reinforce what I am saying. Crusaders were mostly peasents, serfs (slaves), and some merchants. There were some knights that were skilled and in one of the crusades they were led by a king, but almost all of the people in the crusades had no skill whatsoever.

Calm down. Now in every fantsy game or book there are humans. It is a must. In Tolkiens Lord of the Rings humans play an important role(Aragorn). So they have been here from the begining so why take them out?
Npw Zilpheg there was a crusede that consisted of 85% but the greatest (first three) were mostly of knights. Heck the last ones were just a great lose of lives(like the first one weren't :-) ) Now there was no point to them. And yes there were many serfs who wanted to get away from the endless work, but the most important ones were mostly knights.
P.S.: Anti- Crusader humanoid is something that resembels a human. It is not a human, but it looks like one. A crusader IS a Human(just to give u a descreption of the word)

Keep the Crusader
... and you ask why to keep the Crusader? Well I have to go with our friend above (the one who also supports the Crusader). And why you ask? Not only are the Crusader's human (which makes them a staple in the game), but because they are a decent fighter. Oh sure they do not even compare to the Arch-Angel... but they are useful against the smaller but more abundant units.
Like all of those ranged units (like the Tower's Master Gremlins) will be pulverized against the Crusader. They are one of the most useful Flanking units in HOMM3. This is not my opinion, but my observation.

Hmmm... now why would I think that the first crusade had a lot of peasents rather than knights like you think. Well, I think there is a fairly obvious reason that it is called The Crusade of PEASENTS. Read it P-E-A-S-E-N-T-S look it up if you will, you will find that I am right.
