I don't actually say that -all- American media is full of lies and that all Americans believe it. I know that you do plenty of other research. But you have to admit that there is this certain type of Americans that actually buys all of those propaganda news (that does apply to any country, but I find that US is among the top 3 countries at this).

Yeah, there are some news organizations that are extremely biased, and a lot of Americans and people in general believe it. It sure sounded like a huge generalization, oh well.

ivy...i never said you said the amecian news media was all lies....i was talking about the nature of truth and lying in general.
as for the american media i believe it seldom actually lies per se. it distorts the facts in other ways....by withholding information....or my allowing only disreputable sources to speak for the side of the argument they oppose...by taking 1000 pictures of someone they dont like and always printing the one that looks the worst..
but as far as having no respect for the truth i would place the american news media no worse than the middle..far better than the european rags for the most part.. and far better than countries like china and north korea for example where there is little respect for humanity at all. how you came up with the american media as one of the 3 worst is a mystery to me.
