First, it must be ZVSE and not ZVES and if you want the script to trigger from an event at 25/25/0 you'll need to use !?LE25/25/0; rather than !?LE30/30/0;
Anyway, the x/y/l location in the HE:T command is only to determine the type of terrain for the battlefield. The combat will always occur with the hero specified (or -1 for current hero), wherever he or she is. So if the hero trigger an event at 30/30/0 and you use that !?LE30/30/0 that's the one who will be in the combat with the 20 Zealots.
Ok, i think your right ZVSE Im such an idiot (but sorry for the 30/30/0, but i had corrected it in my new version)
thanks again. il try it tomorrow.

I tried this,
ZVSE
!?LE25/25/0;(event is a trigger)
!!BF:C; (clear batllefield)
!!BF84/02 O84/19 O84/36 O84/53 O84/52;(place rocks)
!!HE-1:T25/25/0/9/990;(strat combat whit 990 zealots)
but it says (when i try the game): TRYING TO USE
!!BF:C; script with computer player (use flag 1000 to check)
How do i use flag 1000 to check?

They're big and so there's nothing really the right size and shape that can be replaced by them.

Yes, you can check by checking the owner of the hero (in a BA1 trigger section) and if it's -1 (unowned), the hero lost the battle. If it's not -1, the hero won the battle.

In order to add some flavor to your scenario, perhaps you could add a Ghosts specialist?
ZVSE
!#HE79:X4/159/5/5/5/0/0; [Set specialty to Ghosts]
!#VRz990:S^Gives + 5 attack, defense and damage bonus to Ghosts^; [Set up text]
!#UN:G2/79/2/990; [Set speciality text]
!#UN:G2/79/3/259; [Set specialty picture - looks nice! ]
In my "Underdogs" map I used Nagash(79), but you could use Charna or any other hero and his/her number.
How would you set upgrade arrows on the hero so they could upgrade Wights/Wraiths to Ghosts?

off topic
An important update:
I asked Val about it, and he was so kind to implement an option to disable smileys for the posts that include ERM codes.
When you want to write a new post, you can find the option on the left (it's a red circle with a white X), or you can type this:
[/smileys ]

Lost Knowledge
Dear Gentlemen.
I remember I made a script that made heroes with changed specialities appear with their new specialities in the Advanced Options when I pick/randomize a new map. Somehow it seems I lost that script. I have the hero specialties changed playing the map but no longer in the hero selection phase. What did I use to make the changed hero stats appear before wogification of the map? Seems to me there was a universal hero edit command or some special kind of script that is already processed when I run h3wog.exe.
Please help me quick.

ERM never runs before the map is loaded so it couldn't have been an ERM command.
That only leaves configuration files of some kind (e.g., text resource files placed in the Data folder) but I don't believe there's any for hero specialties anyway. In fact, I think you have to edit the executable file to change specialty pictures in the hero selection screen.
Or..you could use another hero with the specialty you want (if it's a standard specialty) and change the hero portrait. You could do this in the map editor itself for a specific map.
Sorry this isn't much help but I can't think of any other way you could have done this.

!!HL:S
Well thanks anyway, Tim.
I am trying to ban skills from appearing in a hero-level-up-choice.
It seems I don't get the skill using !!HL:S?y1/?y2/?y3;
(I forgot how to display variables (numbers) using !!IF:M... as well, so I am not too shure about that.)
I did not intend to set these Skills unless one of the unwanted appears because there's this fine percentage/class programming behind that.
What can be done.

You're right...you can't get the skill that will appear with !!HL:S, only set it (or maybe you can get primary skills but not secondary..I don't remember now). We're hoping to have this ability some day (3.59...) but for now, it does make it tricky.
One option is to completely rewrite the level-up skill gaining as an ERM script but this has its own problems, or at least difficulties because you would have to either make it random or else code in the chance of each class getting offered certain skills.
A better (but not perfect) way may be to give the skill you wish to ban at Expert level in the level-up trigger and then set some kind of variable "flag" (or perhaps a pair of them). Then with a mouse-click trigger, check for these variable flags and if they indicate that a hero has a banned skill set, remove the skill. It's a bit clumsy but it might work.
However, since skill banning is available in the map editor, I'm pretty sure it's something Slava can add to ERM, so it's only a matter of time before it gets added (probably).

Commander and spells
I want to change commander's spells for example instead of bloodlust to cast bless, but is it possible to cast a expert spell?
Is it possible for commanders to cast expert bless on all of your creatures?
I tried myself but without success.I tried to modify enhanced commanders and instead of 2 for advanced level i tried to put 3 for expert,or 5 for mass spell but this doesn't work

I believe mass beneficial spells have no target stack, so try modifying it so that the target position is a hex without a stack (maybe hex 0 will work or you could even try -1 but I'm not sure if that's accepted or not).

Hi. I'm a beginner in Wog. I've heared about ERM and blank artifacts and i tried to script them but it didn't succeed. If someone helped me, i would be very grateful. My request is that I give you instructions and you script the blank artifacts with ERM for me. OK, i know that it takes many time, but i need your help. I can't understand ERM and i can't make such basic scripts that i'm sure I'll never be able to create blank artifacts. You don't have to hurry. I don't want you to waste your next week by scripting for me. Just tell me that you started working, and inform me if you finished. I'd like the following:
Helmet: +1 primary skill weekly
Sword: Gives 'no retaliation' ability to all of your stacks
Shield: Gives your stacks Air shield, shield and stoneskin for 50 rounds at the beginning of every battle
Horn: +1 strike to all ranged attackers (Same as barbarian lord's axe of ferocity, but the bonus can only be gained by ranged attackers)
Surcoat: Renders the hero to be invisible. (Same as Vlaad's Invisible cloak)
Boots: Renders the hero not to suffer from the penalties of the different kinds of terrains (if he was walking on road.)
Neck talisman: Summons creatures native to the hero's alignment weekly. Level is random, quantity depends on level. Level1: 30; L2: 25; L3: 20; L4: 15; L5: 10; L6: 5; L7: 3; L8: 1
Ring1: Gives a random special ability to one of your stacks every week. Newly joint creatures also takes the ability, but if you upg. them, all is lost.
Ring2: All stacks in the hero's party recieve double stack XP, and provides them to be immune to level 1 spells (excluding friendly ones)
Armor: Casts Magic arrow on all of the enemies in every 3rd round and blinds them in every 7th. Both casts start in the 2nd round (the magic arrow is the first, so it won't dispel blinding) and they also ignore immunity.
Please send the pre-done scripts to my e-mail adress: zsenike01@freemail.hu (Hungarian adress) Please, also tell me where do i paste these scripts in order to function well. I'm very beginner
If there's something unscriptable, ignore it.
Finally: I don't know how i could thank it to those who makes these scripts to me, but if i could do something for them, tell it to me! Thank you.

I'll try to script everything I can.
Right now, Ring 1 script seems impossible to me.
If there is no way I can script something, I'll
make similar script.
