So the direwolves are not as dire as I thought they would be(not as big). Yet they occupy 4 squares. Interesting.

The wolves are quite big.
On the H7 site they are compared to a human outline for size.
The Silverback's human comparison was on a different scale, so I enlarged it to equal the dire wolf's human comparison and here is the actual scale below.
THe Silverback is bigger than the Direwolf (as per Marzhin) and nearly to the chest of the human, that's like the tallest great dane with the width of a gorilla. It's big.

From the front they look like they have been crossbread with boars instead of wolves. On the other hand they would make great mounts for goblins....one can only hope.

Marzhin - I also have a question. That I think I already know the answer to. But anyway:
Since thanks to yesterday's change by... how much? 9% now?... Fury is going to win, are there any chances, any at all, for the "rejected" Emerald Knights, Phoenixes and Unicorns as neutral units? It would - perhaps - allow for creation of a mod/mods that would make us, Balance and Strength voters happy (once we think of a way to make "upgraded" versions).

Marzhin.
We are still very concerned about the possibility of the vote being corrupted by illicit voting via multi-accounting. There is even one self denounced cheater presenting proof of easy cheating that suddenly got himself 56 upvotes from what he claims to be his other accounts. http://i.imgur.com/jxUpHAk.png
We would like, if we may ask for such a thing, to request you present this issue to your colleagues, do some investigation, and come with a response addressing how you will deal with the situation.
I hope you understand our concerns. Please elucidate this situation, we only ask for some light to be shed upon this case.
Thank you.

If they are big, that means they should be easily recognizable in the battlefield
Seriously though, this is fantasy, wolves can be bigger than in real life.

I second this. The same issue will just be compounded in the coming votes, so it's best to deal with it as soon as possible.

I always actually liked wolves as units. I don't like that dire-wolf is the weak-version here though. A lot of people went mouthing about phoenixes needing to be like they were in h6 for consistency on the game-forums. Dire-wolves were bad-ass units basically elite-level. Now they are placed in core-level as the basic-form. In battle it actually looks clumsy to me and in concept it seems too butch so hopefully this will still change. Those concept pictures remind me more of were-wolf as I consider "real" wolves more agile/nimble in build and that looks too butch even for dire-wolf. The big size in general however is not really a problem as there have been some seriously big wolves in reality too and this is fantasy-game at any rate. And I do get it's dog/wolf hybrid, but why is it called dire-wolf rather than something new?
How is it that people can use the https://mmh7.ubi.com/en/blog/ -site? For me it only loads the official part since yesterday evening and the comments won't load at all. I can't even press all the "buttons" as the bottom "ads/links" are on top of things.
PS still expecting to hear from devs that something will be done regarding multi-accounts other than "keeping an eye on them". I never realized you didn't need any real e-mail confirmations or such to make them. I can imagine bunch of kids(or even more with the public encouragements on forums) doing accounts daily in school for week or two and it will make big difference in votes.

I wonder what kind of ability dire wolves/silverback will have?
I assume not howl since it would be too Op for a core unit....

something related to hunger, them going berserk?
I'm glad we are getting more variety in haven.
But we still have 6 human troops (it's the line of men i know) and one animal.
when do you think they will release the rest of the haven line-up as concepts?
i'm curious about the watcher-lady and what she will do!

Perhaps she's a new shooter instead of zealots/inquisitors? She seems to be hooded and have a mask, so I could totally picture with her an elegant composite bow or something, kinda akin to rangers in lotr. Only that shooting wouldn't be her only specialty.
So I'd say Zealots/Inquisitors or whatevery they'll be called have gone full melee ( let's face it, they were always a better meelee unit ) + some support spells while watcher serves as a second shooter for Haven?
I do like this Haven line up, especially swordbearer. It seems much more brutal than usual Haven- line up and I like it.
