Great!  The manual is out in such a short time.  Kudos to Sfidanza!
I will read through and provide necessary feedback, so Sfidanza, just ignore my HCM messages previously sent to you (and sorry for the inconvenience caused).
Sfidanza, is it alright for me to give my feedback in this forum or you prefer me to use HCM instead?

| great work with updating the manual, but I think you released a bit too early, since I think I spotted a few mistakes (can't remember which ones at the moment, but others will probably find them too) or maybe you wanted us to check the manual and tell you the errors? |

| I'll make a complete review of the manual at the start of October and I'll share it here. I would also like to create an errata so I'll please everybody to submit me the errors by email : oare555@gmail.com with complete details : page and what's wrong in that page so we can finally submit one file that contains all the changes that need to be done to the manual

| it is something you could add to the manual : http://myfreefilehosting.com/f/4fb5b5579d_0.03MB
I hope it is understandable (it is in french)
I forgot to put the names of the spells, and since it's a quite old file, the formula used for divine vengeance isn't the new one.
basically, it's an excel sheet which gives the damage dealt by creatures spells depending on the number of weekly growths of these creatures (including horde buildings)

| We just released the 3.1 czech manual with Jata, from Heroes Centrum. It features a new creature descriptions section, which will be added in the english manual in the next update. Most likely, once I got all localizations updated (there should be a few additional items in the process), we'll make another round of updates (3.1a) to synchronize and fix any reported bug. I doubt it will be in the next month though.
@Fauch: I had a look at your xls file. It is nicely done, but it really is a dynamic tool. Laying all the info out in a static page will make it huge, and might be confusing. Unless you had something specific in mind about a static format for the data, I don't think it can be easily added. But that's the beauty of complementarity.
Maybe you could make it an online tool, however, with javascript to power it up. It would be more accessible.

| Some time ago, i know i saw some kind of appendix manual, with lots of useful tactics and such. I remember seeing things like what fields the untamed cyclops is going to hit, then he hits a specific field, or where goblins traps should be placed to insure a specific creature is going to pass it... But i can't remember where i saw it and i can't find it again... Anyone knows what i'm talking about and where to look for it???

| I am currently checking on the fan manual to spot for errors/discrepancies, and also improvements/clarifications, though I admit I am unable to check all sections (like those about heroes, skill wheels or building plans) because I am not exactly a technical guy.  About halfway now, hoping to complete soon.
There are still some errors in the fan manual (for an example, go to "attack" skill and look at "flaming arrows"), especially near the back of the manual, hoping I can spot them all out.

One question to ask: are there plans to update the current fan manual (provided there is a v3.2, which seemed likely...)?

This happens probably because those pages are landscape, so it seems like Adobe Reader's issue rather than a bug in the manual.

This could be fixed by changing those pages to portrait (though I guess no one would like this at all, those creature pages are meant to be landscape format)

| No, I think I formulated it wrong.
Clicking on the Academy Creatures sends you to the Dungeon Creatures (next page), and the same for the others (it sends you to the next page). I think it's an index error.

| Wow, I say in the last 3 days I have learned a ton in might and magic, this comes from a guy who has completed Heroes 5 and HoF, I am working on ToE.
Anyway I have a question about combat damage. FRom what I am reading do you have any control at all on the damage that a hero does with his attack. It seems like that only thing that controls the damage on the Hero's attack is his level.

Second. I was reading the multipiers and the Griffon example stating that:

((((((((((""""""""""""Example: let's consider a stack of 10 Griffins attacking a stack of 30 Horned Demons. Griffins have Attack 7 and
Defense 5, while Horned Demons have Attack 1 and Defense 3.
First, the Griffins attack, and the damage is calculated using the first formula:
 Damage = 10 * random(5, 10) * [ 1 + 0.05*(7-3) ] = 10 * random(5, 10) * 1.2
Let's say the random value is 7.8, giving a total of 93.6 damage, rounded down to 93. The blow would kill 7 Horned
Demons, leaving a stack of 23 with the last one having 11 Hit Points left out of 13.""""""""""))))))))))))

How does the Hero's Attack play a role in this.. If a hero had an attack of 4 for example whould it increade the Griffins attack to 11 from 7 thus changing the formula?
