maaaah~~~ I won't really start a discussion about this maybe my definition of "bragging" is messed up but I'm pretty sure they're not bragging. Not at all lol. See anything close to "ahhh look at me SUCKERS" kindish? I don't.
But anyways ~

No. Bragging is essentialy if you boast with something trying to a) make people jealous b) simply want to tell people how great you are just to satisfy your own ego. Of course there are different ways of doing that.
And nobody in this thread is bragging with anything. emilsn is just so excited and everything is so completely new to him that he just can't help himself^^. He isn't bragging at all. Nobody here is trying to make people jealous sheeesh. If you are jealous that's another story^^.
But I swear this will be my last post on this topic .

It's rather fine, thanks for asking. Because of the exams, we can't really see each other atm, I'm too busy.
But next week, we already have a few things planned.
Oh, and she turns 16 by the beginning of March, so I will look less ridiculous to some of you here not that I care, but...

AMAZING!!!
I have to say, for things not going as I had intended, I am still very pleased. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun.
So most of Saturday was spent running errands, packing, and getting "supplies" for the evening. My first stop was the Hallmark Store because what's a Hallmark Holiday without buying their crap?
Next I got my hair cut so I could look all spiffy (and less like a hobo) for Jasmine. Then after grabbing my suitcase from home I headed to a wine store to get a bottle of Banfi Rosa Regale Brachetto:
Next I cruised over to the grocery store to grab some new wine glasses (my old set broke), strawberries, and whipped cream. My final stop was the flower shop to get a dozen roses and a box of rose petals.
Finally I made my way out to the hotel. It's been a long time since I've been to downtown Detroit. It's nice. After driving around for fifteen mins. looking for a place to park, I finally settled for a spot behind some tour busses near the hotel.
I got up to the front desk and gave the lady my name....
"I'm sorry sir, I can't seem to find your reservation"
"WHAT?!"
She looked a bit harder and eventually found that whoever put the reservation in the computer had accidentally put me down for the 24th instead of the 14th. However, being a four diamond hotel (very high ranked), this place is always looking to keep their customers happy. Instead of telling me tough $#!% and giving me the boot, she apologized and upgraded the room from a Junior Suite to a Deluxe Suite and also threw in a complementary bottle of Champagne.
So I headed up to the $300 room that I only paid $175 for and was amazed. The place was huge! Very nice. I got the wine on some ice and set out the glasses. Next I spread rose petals over the bed and around the room. After I was finished setting things up, I headed out to get Jasmine....
