oh, I see what you mean. So we just disagree.
"Kill a Spring Spirit and you kill a part of your soul."
"...but they can also link with their enemies to reflect the pain that is inflicted to them."
so, to me it works like the fire shields from H5. Possibly even as a passive ability, imo as it was working on one of the videos shown before the sanctuary release, with (I guess) german voice-over. But whatever, each with his own interpretation until we can play.
Anyway, I guess we will have to wait to see what each ability does. As much as I wasn't complaining of these vague descriptions, as most of them at least refer to some use IMO, but Four Waves of the Kensei is seriously just a bunch of lore-stuff, to me it's not a description. My shot in the dark is that maybe a "multi-square" attack or multi-attack.
edit: if you are having trouble looking for the naga creatures in the official site, see the Thread of Awesome by Elvin

ZOMG, the Sanctuary theme is just as awesome as I'd thought it would be!! In fact, I've been thinking of substituting a different word for awesome, on account of it being used with an alarming frequency by me, when describing HOMM music.(Or HOMM in general, but that's beside the point ) Something really worthy, that would channel my meaning a thousand times better than "awesome... "Romeringbactastic", maybe? I sincerely hope that the game's composers are somehow aware of the fact, that they provide the only factor of HOMM which never, ever failed to fully satisfy me, and all the Heroes-fans that I know IRL,(At times, they just can't help themselves, but burst into their interpretation of a song randomly, in the middle of an epic, 12-hour long speedrun-contest, despite the fact that they aren't exactly top-notch singers, nor do they speak German (or Latin, for that matter). :grin) and I'm certain they will continue to do so till the series' eventual end. In the absurd case that they are oblivious to their romeringbactasticness, I humbly ask the insiders to pass it along to them.
Long live the irreplaceable composer duo, Rob King, Paul A. Romero, and their occasional partner Steven Baca! :good

For me the Snowy Plains theme from Heroes 2 is one of the most beautiful pieces of music on earth.

And the amazon UK and US are selling the game for 35 euros while the Amazon DE is selling it for 50 euros and Amazon FR for 60...
Not much question about where one should order the game...

<*Expresses intense Sanctuary Love*>
Seriously. They might actually topple H3's Fortress as my favorite Faction of all time. I'm really motivated to make a design ranking for H6 creatures, just so I can add them all to this edition's TOP 7 ^_^
But eh, even if they turn out to be sucky (which i doubt), they'd probably still be my favorite faction untill the expansions. (mainly because I despise Necro, Stronghold and Inferno so much... And Haven has always been so *bleh*)

Yeah. They look decent. I'm wondering, is this lightnings around (in) them or something else.

Quote:
Those abilities are simple. This is how I understand them
Spirit link: All positive spell effects that are on Spring spirit are shared with one or more neiburing allies. (we will see if it is active or passive and if it affects all or just one ally)
Pain reflection: Active: target one enemy unit, whenever this unit does damage the effect of this ability will deal a percentage of this damage on the creature
Lifeguard Membrane: All Physical and magical damage done to the spirit is reduced
Not sure, this is what I think:
Spirit Link ability to share any magical blessing from which an ally benefited (so think it's not only neighbouring allies but all, and involves spell effects on ally troops). What's nice is that the Coral Priestess can heal and cleanse so will affect Spring Spirits too!
Pain reflection any damage received can be reflected onto enemies.
Ferocious wound (shark guard) and Leap (kappa) are similar to H5 spierwielders and horned grunts.
Can't wait to see Four Waves and Trail of Mist in action!

Talking about Trail of Mist - I can't actually imagine it. The Kirin flyes and leaves a mist, is that so?

It would be cool if you could specify the exact path the Kirin moves along, rather than just telling it where to go. If any of you have played Advance Wars you can see how this would work.

From the game play videos we've seen so far the path of travel in combat is visible for the player. But I think having much influence on the path would deviate too much from the Heroes formula.

I just think it could be interesting in combination with the Trail of Mist ability.
Quote: Trail of Mist (Basic): The Kirin leaves a misty magical trail behind it wherever it walks that is thick enough, it is joked, to give even an Orc a proper bath. But on the battlefield very few find it a laughing matter. Though the mist never lingers long, the enemy armies always waste precious time groping their way through.
As movement stands now, trying to use that ability to cover a wide area requires you to move the Kirin to places you may not want to move it to. If you could specify a path you'd have a lot more flexibility and control, possibly even moving around then returning to your original position. It would also be cool to see the Kirin snaking around the path. I doubt that is in the game, but I don't think it would be too much of a change for one unit to have it. Of course, this is all assuming I understand how the ability works in the first place.

so the ability of the sharkman is the contrary of the "eye of gluttony" of the cerberus.
how is the kensai ability different from the "taunting presence" of the juggernaut?
according to some descriptions that were posted here, I expected the kappa to be able to cleanse poison from friendly units, and by doing so, to add a poison effect to his next attack.
