You're right, I forgot that. Normally it is advised to install mods only in usermods, but in this case you have no other choice.

This one is enought wicked as for me, pushes the game experiece to its limits ^^
But unfortunatelly, generator is not ToE compatibile.

How can I edit these maps so they featured spells (and possibly heroes or mods)? I don't know how to open .PAK file using editor at all.
EDIT: It's all about repacking the archive or simply changing the extension. Nice.

Hello!
Thanks for your HoMM V Map Generator!
It's Great!
But we know some tips how to make it better! =)
1) First of all, it must support TotE expansion,
because most of people play in this addon now
instead of playing in original or HoF expansion.
2) Secondly, it will be better to include
"Enable/Disable Underground".
It's very important.
3) Thirdly, we're waiting for
"The degree of symmetry" to be appeared.
4) And, at the last, we're want to choose
where will be our castles : for example,
"First player's Academy castle will be at the

right-down corner on the ground, and

second player's Orc castle will be at the
up and middle and under ground."
Maybe it will be a small mini-map where you
can choose the placement of your castle
by yourself.
It's the most important thing!

I and my small community know that
it's hard to create all these things,
but if you'll do it, it will be the best
random map generator in the world!
Maybe it won't be needed
to create maps by yourself ...

HI,
It would be great to get source code of this RMG, if You still wish to keep it hidden then maybe You would help me with GroundTerrain.bin format? I saw that this RMG generates ground too, so You must know how to change GrounTerrain.bin. Or maybe there is anyone who knows that? Thanks for any help(Yes I did found topic about terrain in other forum, but that information not enough).

It is very a pity that the program is not developed!
This generator of maps is much better than that, now works in "Heroes 5".

Tapani! I beg you! Improve the program to version 3.1!

Um where's the UserMODS folder? Do you have to have one of the expansion packs to have it or something?

It should be in root folder of your game. New expansions create it automatically, and all modern mods need it.

Still, for this RMG you can create it on your own.
