I mean you really think Ubi would seriously make a Heroes V DS game, no offence, but I don't think this will come true.

Hmm, I think this would be better in Temple of Ashan.
Because people, no need to be offensive, but like Daystar and some others, dragged it a little off-topic from what the Library should be, and then started discussing about HOMM5.
I admit, I did that too, but I wasn't giving any actual ideas about the game.
Already, there have been pictures of what a game like this could be like, and guess what, they look like HOMM5, and probably are the graphics from HOMM5.
Library of Enlightenment is not for HOMM5, but for HOMM1-3, and perhaps it should stay that way.
Temple of Ashan is good for discussing about HOMM5, so maybe it should be better there

As this is a project that doesn't stem from any of the Heroes series, I believe it belongs in the Colisseum. Either there or in the Altar. And anyway, do you want to organize this thread more by posting some basics people can work on lie they're doing on the Joint Forum Project? That make this easier. Anyway, how many factions will there be. Keep in mind the limited amount of space on a Nintendo DS game chip. They don't carry GB's at a time.

we already hae got nine towns. forge, or grove, could be the 10th. i prefer grove, i think. no alternate
i would like to see your ideas, because i like grove and forge, but they just aren't...well, can't say it. aren't original or something. anyway, a new town will be great, and they're always welcome.

You know, I'm good at making up truly new factions. The Erebus faction embodies the elements of those creatures locked away by the Gods due to their insane barbarity. The Magrim faction is the product of renegade dwarves constructing things that they could not control, and the constructs killed them and grew to sentience.
Then the Conflux can always return, as can the Naga and Tower. Personally, I like the Magrim faction, because it is my own genuine creation.

I like the robots, if only for the story's sake. Remember that Heroes of Might and Magic originally began as Might and Magic, which included at least three robotic main characters and sci-fi in every installment except IX.

They wouldn't be robots, per se. I'd call them constructs, because they don't have programming, they have a true soul. They are blessed with life, and therefore aren't automatons. So, how about now?

If the story is set in Axeoth or Erathia I'd love the idea of robots, remember who the Angels are and the Kreegans?
In Ashan (Which would probably be the place where the story will be set if Ubi makes it) however things are a lttle different Angels seem to be really Angels not Mechanical beings. Demons are really Demons not Aliëns who look like Demons if you view it this way Ashan is really classic and Axeoth/Erathia has a sci-fi twis nobody knows if you just play HoMM without Campaigns or following the storyline.
