There are many threads & replies that deserved QP's for yrs & it has never happened.
If it happens then it happens.
I dont think it's right to request them for your friends as well as requesting them period.
If they think it's QP worthy then it is what it is.

Understandable, however, Mods can't be everywhere and do everything. Sometimes they miss things. Not on purpose, but because there are so many new posts that it is difficult for them to look at every single one. So, as long as you don't suggest your own, I think it is ok to suggest. Just as it is ok for the MODS to deny that suggestion, as quality is subjective.

I agree they do.
It happens though & it happened since I was new.
That was when every mod was very active also 
Some people get neglected on here more then others.
I feel a certain way about this but Pandy will kick my butt If I keep saying that word LOL.

This thread is a good thing imho. Often moderators (at least this counts for me) overlook a thread or a post if they are not present for 1 or 2 days, coz TODAY'S POSTS is only related to present day (last 24 hours). So if members see a good thread/post and post them here or in the feedback threads of the specific subforums, moderators can read back and then decide.

Hmm I don't know, seen some qp's given for some strange things. The question is..is the internet the same as thin air . One thing I do find that bothers me however is when I see a debate where only one side gets quality points. Especially one that has yet to be, and probably never will be, proven one way or another. I won't get into that, however, for it is a quagmire of it's own.

Has interesting responses  I don't know about that nor what other posts he may have had till that point. For instance samiekl has made considerable contribution in the temple of Ashan through short comments and the occasional advice, I was on the lookout to give him one based on his overall activity.

Nothing wrong with this reward imho. It is not the length of the post which decides wether or not u recieve a reward, but how it contributes to either a specific topic or to the community itself. And 4 pages of (funny) responses shows, the community liked the idea, therfore the +qp was well earned.

A bad example, but I think i have seen a thread where a guy(don't remember name) got a QP for not much. If he got a QP nowadays of that, HC would have been ful of QPs, i think

That's why there is a feedback thread in (nearly) every subforum. If u notice a thread u think should be rewarded, just post the link in such a feedback thread and wait for the response of the Mod. He/she normally will post whether or not it will recieve a reward.
