Is it possible to enlarge a creature? if so I think a supersized horned grunt would do much better.

I don't know if it's possible, but your idea is good, especialy if puting on Yeti's texture on the Demon and changing the animset.

It would be possible I think, except for moving - you would have to watch it slide along... so no, not really possible I guess.

is there anything else i can help you with, BIGJOKER? i'll be happy to do another or 2 retextures for you.
EDIT: by the way, are you making second upgrades? or is it just one? 'cause we wouldn't need another slot in the recruit creatures thingy. i can send you the texture for the one from HoF, which is only 2 slots per tier.

I'm making 2 upgrades(but not alternative). It's just that when you upgrade dwelling you can not buy unupgraded creature, only the upgrades.
Yes,I need help. I need to retexture all 3 spierthrowers (harpooners) to look like orcs. I tried to recolor them to greenish color, but it still looks bad. It needs face changing to something more orcish. If you could make it, it would be great.

ok, i'm on it! it will probably be done by about 7:00 PM(-5 GMT).
EDIT: here it is, right on time.

You can see i tried to fool around with the alpha channels but wesn't very succesful, i will cover the top ones with mud and i will work a little more on the bottom one. but oberall, i think it looks great.

I've made something similar myself, but as I said it just doesn't look good. It needs not only color changing, but also face improvements.

THE PROJECT IS CLOSED

I'm sorry to say, but it's true. My Windows XP had broken down, without ability to repair it and I lost all the files of the MOD. I'm so sad and mad now.... All my work....has gone....

BUT there's a good news too. I will start making everything all over again, but it will be absolutely different. there will be a lot of new creatures (I will use the framework).

And again some problems because of Microsoft...
You should have made copies of the files on a other disk, cd etc.

This is terrible to hear , this was one of my favourite upcoming projects. Isn't it possible to recover your files by moving your drive to another pc? I want quicksilver II!!

Even though the OS crashed, could the files still be available on the disk, i.e. retreived by just plugging it into another computer?

Well you see it was 80GB hard drive with ~50GB of free space left, and it suddenly became hard drive with ~78.5GB of free space, so everything was surely lost. And I already reinstalled Windows. But this time I gave 20GBs for linux, so if Windows will crash I can still access my files. I will still see what I can do.

I would like to give an idea that can maybe help you to regain 'motivation' for the project.

What if you leave the enormous retexturing/modelling job for a while and just prioritize on rebuilding the system with the existing creatures and all the statistical work you still have, because it is posted here.

You can then release it as a gameplay mod and everybody can try out how it works in game and test it. Maybe an early release can easily make more people interested in the project.
You can then slowly restart the work on the h3 creatures and just pick the ones that are fun to do, without the need to change everything because the mod is already working nonetheless.
