aww... maybe we shouldn't make the secondary upgrades... how about we just make a WoG out of H5, it can be called In the Wake of Asha, or WoA. what do you think? we will include all the units and stuff. but i don't think anyone other than me likes that... it's just that i really liked WoG but want it to come 3D...

I think you have to explain more precisely what you want, WOG was an improvement on almost all parts of the game. A lot of these changes are already in H5 or made by modders (balanced secondary skills, balanced artifacts, balanced hero specializations, balanced creatures on the adventure map, ui improvements, ai improvements, scripted quest huts, this lists goes on and on). I personally think new creatures were the least important part of WOG, all the gameplay and balance improvements made it so good. The creators of wog also had a kind of monopoly in modding h3, when they invented ERM. For h5 you can easily choose a part of WOG (commanders, level 8 units, god units, troop experience) and try to create a seperate mod for it.

Ok..I have a good news and bad news again
Good one is that i recovered three towns, so i will try to remake the others and continue the works.
Bad one is that it will take a lot of time and some thing may differ from what it was.

you know what? we should just keep on going with Quicksilver II. except we should make a little more concepts then just re-name and retexture the creatures and stuff. we should change the build tree for heroes, you know, sort of make a new game from what we have.

i'll do my best to fix 'em up.
EDIT: sorry for not reading the comment right after i posted the first version. anyway i have made yet another.

I think we might be able to live with the beard. i have made more colour adjustments to fit you brown scheme. i have also added some reds on his feet and beard. i have an idea of what to do with the beard. we can possibly make a sort of bandana over his face... oh you don't get it...

except only over his mouth, not his nose. but there is another problem, what the heck do we do with the moustache? it is totally 3D and if we make that into a piece of cloth it will look like crap.

well, you know the training thingy for haven is sort of dumb and barely anyone uses it. so we should change the main skill.

I believe you can boost the retaliation damage and maybe increase the training limit, but in fact Nival nerfed it because it was so damn powerful, especially with dougal. So I don't think many people playing online will agree with this statement.

It's just not possible...I just can't make myself do everything all over again. Those files which I thought are something from QS were corrupted. I think I'll do something else, but cannot think of anything.

Well, at least good we no that now. I can understand you don't want to do everything over again. The only thing I can think of is just creating the system with the existing creatures. So you only have to make the stat changes.

Actually that's the hardest part.. It's easier for me to make textures and other things. You see there's not only stats changed.

Such a shame, I was never able to try QS1 because I didn't have SoD... but I can understand, it's really unpleasant having to do this sort of thing for a second time over, especially when you weren't really getting anything out of it except the pleasure of modding and providing a mod for people.

Let's leave this topic for a while. Maybe someday I will remake QSII.

EDIT: I was thinking a lot, AND decided to remake QSII. But now it will be very simlpe, but the main aim will remain. Now I will leave the graphics as it is, and there will be no replacements, exchanges. Now I will just change statistics and make second upgrades from the alternatives. You will still love it (I hope)
