ye, but why not gun when you have the modern tecology like dragon golem in heroes 4, and the forge town in heroes 3.

Ummm... because it's not warcraft?
I think nobody can really imagine a gun in HOMM even it is not as modern as now in our century. Although HOMM doesn't play on planet Earth, there shouldn't be any weapon, except smaller cannons or Gremlin's "shotgun"...
Btw, I have an intresting question: What does a "gun" mean for us? What style and functions do we except when we think about a "gun"?

Of course I did, it's part of the job description. However, I've had to rethink the opinion that those things are robots, even though they sure aren't the traditional type of Angel.

Oy! Just cause you don't understand something does not make it true. If you show a caveman a Cell-Phone he will call it magic. You get "magic" when you have one person more advanced than the other. The advanced person is able to use things and tricks, that the less advanced person doesn't know, and will be called "magician".
However, it is almost impossible to find two peoples that one of them haven't heard of any technology, and would call it "a magic". If you find such of a person, s/he will probably be a poor African, and not a peson from the advanced society. To make the modern society to believe in a sort of magic, you need a person which is much more advanced than it - a person that has gotten much farther than the sience.

if it were to take place in the old universe (unlikely) yes it would tie into the whole storyline, but I don't mean cyber zombie or jetpack minotaur, I mean like the enforcer unit or whatever from mm6 in the control center or guys with blasters.
If it were in the new universe (more likely) than yes as long as it is restricted to small muskets of the like for a certain faction.
But this is just my opinion

Man, your out of date, NWC dosen't exist anymore, Ubisoft took over long ago.
oh, i thought heroes 5 is developed by both Ubisoft and NWC.
Thats even worse, Ubisoft is way more "uncommunicatable", and they r french! >.< (i hate french cos I got E in my French GCSE, and my annoying IT teacher is french!, I know, its racist, but tell me 1 brit who like french)

I dont think HoMM6 should be mixed with Science Fiction, WoW tried... it didnt turn out very well (but was acceptable since its Blizzard who made it).

I fail to see what intelligence has to do with prefering english to french or any other language. And France is hardly northern europe.
Anyway, as long as we stay in ubi universe, story will suck, be it with or without guns.
