Alright, so, he really didn't want to actually hurt his opponent's pokemon, so instead of using water pulse again Mark called out, "Alright Fisher, use Ice Shard." Which shouldn't nearly triple the maximum hit points of the rock/ground type.

Well… they could try one more time safely. “Shake it off Fisher, your opponent’s weak. Use Ice Shard one last time bud!” If the water type missed again, then it was probably time to swap, regardless of if it gave his opponent a free hit.
