The Raichu nods and you both head down the far left corridor.
For what seems like an eternity, you both move forward. Suddenly, you hear a footstep.
You are in the middle of the corridor, and there is a door to the right and a door to the left.
What do you do?

While Mina waited for the others to ponder ideas, she bent again to check on Misty. As she did, a glitter on her own belt caught her eye. On closer inspection, the Pokeball Jerry had thrown her—the one containing Ditto—had something on the outside. In bright gold lettering, it read:
TIARA
The name tickled her mind for some reason. Then abruptly it dawned on her.
‘…and be crowned the new Champ of the Battle Festival.’ Ah-ha. Very funny.
She mentally wiped the unimpressed expression this thought inspired away and shook her friend’s shoulders.
“Misty, wake up!”

First thing Christian did after getting into the spectral dimension was to oick up his cell phone, punch in a number and try to call "...No answer...damn! Means no contact or whatsoever!" he shouted. Then he turned to the other and said "Hmmm....this is the spectral dimension, huh? I had expected something a little more impressive than this after all I heard!"

Draloed:
As you attempt the left door, you notice that it is locked. You take out the keys from the jail cell, and attempt them one by one. (There's twelve, and for purposes of this game, you have already used 1 to open the cell.)
You estimate you have time to try 4 keys before whatever is heading your way reaches you.
((Guess 4 numbers between 2 and 12. Guess correctly the one I'm thinking and get in. Otherwise... ))

You try the seventh key.
The door doesn't budge.
You try the fourth key.
Cling!
The door opened!
You and Raichu head hurriedly through the doorway.
What you see next is unbelievable...
You see two guards waiting for you. They send out Geodude and Geodude!
As they send out their Pokémon, they look at each other and say:
"We must not fall!"
You look behind them and notice the reason for their melodrama...they are guarding a safe of some sort.

Raichu looks at you momentarily confused. Suddenly, she figures out what to do and attacks the Geodude on the left. She makes to slam into it, and suddenly her right hand starts glowing black. Confused, she momentarily stops, causing the Geodudes to attack first.
The Geodudes make a coordinated attack!
Raichu is Tackled for 6 points of damage!
Raichu is Tackled for 7 points of damage!
Raichu uses Shadow Punch!
Geodude A is hit for 28 points of damage!
You have discovered a new move on Raichu's list!
The Raichu stares at her hand in awe.
Raichu recuperated from its own pain!
Raichu recovers 2 HP!

Misty comes around and is confused for a moment. Then she remembered what had happened. She jumped to her feet, almost knocking Mina down. "Stripes! Why did you.." she looks around and realizes where she is.."Oh.." she notices Mina. "I'm .. sorry. I couldn't just leave him. Guess..we should look around some."

Mina nodded. “I know how you feel. I had Tiara knock down one of her helicopters; hopefully Dream used it as a distraction to escape.” Mina’s tone didn’t imply much hope in that outcome though.
Why is this region so full of suicidal heroes? Is it something in the water? The air?
Not really having anything else of comfort to say, Mina decided a change of subject was in order. “We can search more ground if we split into pairs; I’ll cover the area to the north, and see if I can find any clues.” Specifically Mina wanted to check the spot where the abandoned house would be in Helnith proper, and check for signs of a struggle. “Which sections do the rest of you want?”
((There are seven of us here, yes? So, North, Southwest, and Southeast.))

If not, you’ve still got an extra team member, and with you in the south and me in the north, so long as we all don’t get too far away from each other one of the two of us should be able to come help if anyone else gets into trouble.”
And a little bird named Spencer told me you wanted a Ditto. Why didn’t you say something, girl??
Mina held out the gold-lettered Pokeball for Misty.

Party:
Dove and Fate move a short distance to the west while Spencer does the same to the east. They start searching the area for anything that will lead to civilization or to Spencer's father or, preferably, to both.
The initial searches are fruitless. Dove then points out a lone tree in the distance. It appears to be quite large, and about five miles away.
"It's a long walk, but it's all I can see for now.", says Dove.
The grass is a sickly pale purple color, as if something were draining the color out of the land.
Spencer then mutters:
"What could cause such a thing?"
Misty:
As you search the "tournament grounds" for clues, you notice that the earth around the rift is disturbed. Upon closer inspection, you realize that there is a depression on the ground, about five feet long, and you can see grooves, as if something, or someone were being dragged somewhere.
Mina:
At your end, you notice some grooves on the ground. You follow them for a bit until they suddenly stop. The area where they stop is heavily disturbed, and you can make out a strange symbol on the ground.

You seem to notice that, each turn, barely noticeable specks of dark matter bond to Raichu's wounds, causing some of them to close.

“Hmm…what’s this?” Mina remarked aloud. She bent to examine the earth more closely, looking for recognizable prints or markings in the hopes of deciphering what had happened here. She also took the time to get a closer look at the strange symbol.

Mina:
You bend down closer and notice that there are several footprints. Only one of them seems human though.
The symbol is like nothing you've ever seen before. Touching it does absolutely nothing except nearly burning your hand. It is extremely hot for some reason.
Near the symbol, there is a drop of dark red liquid...

(( umm i'm beginning to think that shadow punch is a shadow move and not a ghost move. Shadow punch))

Mina wiped her scalded hand on her jeans to disperse the heat. Why would someone put something like that there, anyway? This is practically the middle of nowhere…
Then with a thoughtful frown, she scanned the footprints with her Pokedex (she didn’t really expect anything to come up, but why not give it a try anyway?), and tracked the grooves back away from the mark to see where they had come from.

((It's actually both...gotta love using the same name for multiple moves. But this one in question is the Shadow version...little side effect of getting Shadowed that one time.  ))
Raichu uses Slam!
Geodude is hit for 18 points of damage!
It's not very effective...
The Raichu massages her tail after the attack. ((Normal vs Rock...bad, okay?  ))
Geodude uses Tackle!
Raichu is hit for 5 points of damage!
Raichu recuperated from her own pain!
Raichu recovers 2 HP!

"ERROR!! Unknown Pokémon entry!"...came the overly expected answer upon scanning the footprints. A scan of the human looking footprint came up negative, proving that it was a human's footprint. As you track the grooves back to their origin, you see Misty in the distance. The grooves stop near the rift, which brings up more questions and not enough answers...

Mina studied the grooves thoughtfully, then shrugged. The only thing she could think of was that Elder Roden had been dragged through, pulled over to that symbol-thing, and…teleported? Flown away? Except he had to have been standing to talk to her a few days ago, so perhaps he’d started at the symbol and then been dragged here…that made slightly more sense, but didn’t answer the question of why? To be thrown through the rift? They’d just come through it, surely they’d have noticed something?
She didn’t have enough information to do more than conjecture, so she went back to the northern end of where town would have been, finished her search, then came back to where they had all arrived to wait for the others to return.
