"The smart and enterprising kind!", retorted the Elder simply.
Raichu uses Thunderbolt!
Lombre is hit for 57 points of damage!
Lombre uses Giga Drain!
Raichu is hit for 17 points of damage!
Lombre recovered 9 HP!
Zucruu uses Mean Look!
Lombre can't switch out now!
You suddenly hear a bell toll. The Elder eggs you on:
"Tick tock...tick tock. When the fourth bell rings, so shall Dream's life end. Might want to hurry if you want to save him."
He grins sadistically.

Mina:
Zorpaleus looks at you for a moment. He appears to be smiling. The Zorpi resume their playing frenzy for a while until Zorpaleus finally calls them off. They then head off into the deep recesses of the giant, living tree.
He then turns back to the group and comments:
"The attacks have been getting worse. The Fire Pokémon Lord seems to be getting restless. As for that Elder you seek, I think he's the Lord's latest prisoner. You can forget about saving him though. No one ever leaves Pyrsiltn Castle alive. Besides, the Lord is too strong to be defeated."
He then turns away from the group, as if not wanting to see the group's reaction to his comment.

As the small Zorpis starts to crawl around and tackle him, Christian tries to shoo them off "Shoo, shoo! I'm not a clibbing play toy. SHOO!"
When the Zorpis finally retreats, Christian hears what Zorpaleus has to says before he sits down in a meditating pose and says "Ohh bugger! Guess we can just call of that rescue and figure out a way to get home, huh?" he looked at the others and the cold and somewhat evil look from those guys made him want to jump out of his skin so he quickly continued "Of course, I'm not one to give up easily, but I'll understand it if you guys want to quit." the even more colder and evil look from the others made him wonder if they were going rip him appart or torture him so he continued fast and more nervous "But you guys arn't the easy quiters either, so I doubt we will quit, now lets put our heads together((a saying in my contry, I'm not sure about yours thou)) and figure out a way to save this guy." Christian turned to Zorpaleus and asked "Could ou tell me more about this fire lord and that castle you talked about?"

Mina took the retreating Zorpi as an opportunity to sit up, massaging her protesting ribs.
"Ohh bugger! Guess we can just call of that rescue and figure out a way to get home, huh? Of course, I'm not one to give up easily, but I'll understand it if you guys want to quit. But you guys arn't the easy quiters either, so I doubt we will quit, now lets put our heads together and figure out a way to save this guy."

"I did not mean...BAH! Whatever! I'll tag along for the ride...anyway he called it the pokémon fire lord's castle or something so it might be a good oppertunity to get my hands on one of those good fire type pokémon or what do you think?" then Christian mumbled to himself "How did I let myself get talked into this?..."

Misty was startled when she was jumped, but ended up having a lot of fun. She was actually sad when the little ones were called off. Stripes and one of the caped creatures continued to play tug of war. Stripes was usually the serious one, and Misty grinned. Guess this place even had him on edge so a little tug of war to blow off some steam was good.
"Mina, you are forgetting me. You don't go alone, wherever you end up going. Stripes and the others would never forgive me if I let you go into danger alone."

Then she eyed Zorepalus’ caped form speculatively. Cautiously, almost tentatively, she added aloud, “But more info about that castle would definitely be good, yes.”

Stacey sat down, thinking to herself about what options she would have against this fire lord, and the minions.

"We should sneak in, and take the lord by surprise! Most of us don't have pokemon who won't suffer the affects of this realm. So, the quicker this can be done, and with the least amount of confrontation, the better. Though, that's just my opinion."

A cage drops from the ceiling, trapping Raichu in it. If you go now the Raichu is stuck there. If you leave it may be too late for Dream...

Party:
Zorpaleus sighs as he looks at each of the party members and slowly begins:
"As you may or may not have heard before, this was once just like your own world. Salerdia's evil twin corrupted this world, and what you see now is what it has become. He placed seven Pokémon Lords around this dimension to maintain absolute control over the region. One of them was overthrown a while ago by another Pokémon, one who opposes Aidrelas. She lives near the southwest corner of the region."
He then stops for a moment and then starts answering what is on everyone's mind:
"The Fire Lord's castle is an impregnable fortress about four hours away from here. If you look outside, you may see smoke coming out from the distance. That's the castle. As for the Lord himself, you'll know him when you see him. Pretty hard to miss. If you truly want to go, I guess we can go help."
The Zorpi hop out happily and stand near Zorpaleus. He then says:
"Feel free to take a look around here if you want. The lower floors supposedly are the ruins of an ancient temple."
He curtails the obvious question by replying:
"And no. I've never been down there. No use biting more than I can chew. Who knows what's down there?"

“I was thinking about getting a better look at that castle, actually,” Mina responded—though not without some internal disappointment as the explorer in her protested loudly at the lost opportunity. But Elder Roden had already been trapped here a couple of days, and now that she could do something about it she was loathe to delay any longer. “Four hour walk, you said?” Mina went over options in her head while observing how the others reacted to this new information.

He stays silent.

Mina hmm’d thoughtfully. She mentally paged through their options, occasionally speaking aloud for the group’s benefit.
So scaling the wall outright is probably out.
“Cover will be a problem…”
…none of us has a Pokemon that can Fly, yet, or a Ground type that can Dig, so… “Unless this Fire Lord is paranoid enough to have built an escape tunnel we probably won’t be able to get in underground.”
We could try and get ourselves captured on purpose! Mina thought self-deprecatingly, If we’re feeling suicidal, which I’m not, and leaves the little problem of getting out again.
Drawbridge? Surely there’s a front door somewhere…
“…I’m open for ideas, guys.”

When no responses were forthcoming, Mina voiced another question that had begun to percolate in her head.
“How is the castle supplied? Maybe we could find a supply train going in and smuggle ourselves pass the walls that way.”

"Well, the castle is self-sustaining..."
He trails off and continues:
"...unless. I've heard that the Fire Lord makes slaver runs to enslave Pokémon to add to his army. Perhaps we can follow one of their runs in or something like that?"
