It is not a problem that it's unfinished, but that it crashes. It was based on Preserve town, which also crashed 
But yes, no other town can match Cove as yet.

Notepad and 5 minutes of correcting mistakes - and Forge is not crashing.

Could you please post fixed version?
Anyway, I still don't know exactly what caused these crashes. Never bothered to investigate on my own, please explain

Some syntax errors. I don't remember now.
Wrong skill names, like magicWater (or magicEarth) skill (must be waterMagic or earthMagic).
I can send you Forge, but this will be not final version, just some remix for myself.
For example, I didn't renew abilities/stats of creatures from 0.4, my Stingers/Bruisers are catapult, added some Knight as commander.
I hope polish modders correct these issues by themselves.

I have a question. How is the HotA team translating the game? That is to say, where is the text stored, in what format/file, and how do I approach it?

Oh, I'm not interested in the translation of the mod, I can understand Russian without problems. I want to get hold of the texts so I can edit them/translate myself.

open the hota_lng.lod with mmarchive, there ir some txt files with the text to translate!
maybe you can comparre with the english file to translate the basic

P.S. Yea, what's up with the official HOTA forum anyway this last week?

Can someone give me the link to download a non-crashing version, and an instruction on how to "instal" HOTA?
I did it once, but I've got HOMM 3 Complete and WOG on my computer, so it kinda didn't work at all.

Here. Installing it is simple, you don't have to do anything but to click "Next". It should work normally with WoG and Complete, but if something doesn't work properly - try installing HD Mod.
