Interesting approach...wait Geny is selfless? 
A few thoughts.
I know some sweet people and while they give and help others that does not mean that they have a problem themselves. Heck they even help others when they should be helping themselves. That's not egocentrical.
Not so sure I belong in salty or at least under these characteristics. Never been the crazy fun person, I don't lose my motivation nor my temper and my mood is consistent for the most part. Don't like fish 
Where the bitters are concerned I can't say I dislike them nor do I take for granted their trust. Everyone and no-one is trustworthy. The last lines about tact and patience could have been describing me.

But the people here don't seem that bad. At least it feels like they don't resent the newer posters, like they did over at the Round Table.

Which is why the Round Table is almost out of regular posters (I've been posting recently in a Heroes VI idea thread that Panda made there ).
I miss the good old days...
Anyways, according to those classifications, I'm either Sweet or Salty...

They used to resent noobs back then.
We made many of them quit HC within a month or less just because we felt like being butt heads lol.
I think getting older changes you.
Sometimes life changes you.
Sometimes people on here makes you want to be a D*&%.
Always reasons why people are dif from before.
Like TNT lol.
Some history of how he changed & William.
William has matured alot.
I am glad.
I guess i changed alot but i was 24 on here I think.
I am 31 now. Been a long time & I been through alot at the time on & off HC.

Holy crap Pecu! You're freaking old. You must be one of the most bitter folks on here.
I'm sorry, I've skimmed most of the posts as this subject has become uninteresting to me. I can tell you for a fact that I've changed since I first started here. I joined when I was 14 or 15 years old. A young kid into Heroes. I was goofy and dumb and when I look back at some of my earlier posts I wonder what I was thinking. I'm 23 now and my posting style has changed over the years as I've grown. Not because I'm a Mod. I actually started speaking my mind more since I got the sword but bitter is not quite the word I would use. I can be a bit of an ass at times. I'll admit that but it's my personality.
As I've been here for longer and longer periods of time I've noticed that I'm starting to intertwine my online and real life to the point that I now talk to everyone here as if I was standing there and talking to you in person. I think that may be a closer description of what happens to people here. They become comfortable and slowly but surly they allow their true selves to come out from behind that online personality.
Just my outlook on it all. Maybe I and other oldies are bitter and we're just too old and senile to admit or realise it.

Are we talking frank and honest, or bitter? Hehe, a lot of people probably think I am bitter, but mostly it is just saying what I think and thinking what I say.
Though I am bitter about a few things. Though somepeople do seem a bit bitter, won't name no names  . I think mostly people get tired of dancing around and have to speak their mind.

I'm not sure exactly what you guys are referring to, but if it's what I think it is, it doesn't directly have anything to do with age or time at HC. It's because HC has changed. To put it simply, HC used to be cool and now it sucks.
Maybe I'll elaborate more later - or maybe I'm better off just keeping my mouth shut.

Yeah, that's the same with me as well. In fact, I want to wipe out all my old posts, and just keep the ones from mid 2007 in. I was an idiot back when I first joined, and I guess I got many people to not like me because of the way I posted and because of what I posted.

All in all, I have to agree with what most people said here, people just get more comfortable with they true personality over time and if they're bitter online it's just because they're bitter in RL as well.

The thread was a VW thread that was supposed to have been deleted - but because there are dozens of threads that contain links to the original and because many members were rather fond of it- I locked it and moved it to tavern rather than delete it - and let them start it over again, knowing that future chill out threads would follow the VW format.

Well because there is no more competition to toss anymore.
I have not heard the name in yrs.
All I see is Spam.
Spam is no competition.
All we do is bypass reading it or just laugh at it reading the next reply.
There is nothing to keep us satisfied.
So yes the bitterness eversince Snowflake finally became a man.
Maybe he can never grow hair but you can tell he is a man by how much Rosier his cheeks has become!
You may think he is Itchy from the 7 dwarves He of outgrew the red nose & some few peach fuzz on the chin but he finally got those jolly rosey cheeks to prove he is a true Snowwhitey
