If the package doesn't able to install this is caused by the system surly still because few DLL is used in same time
You know..there are always risk to manipulate DLL files...
and I'm sorry that you live this situation...
I hope too that a reinstallation of system will not require..
By chance, the majority of the DLLs are not important for the system.

I get similar error as Warmonger when trying to open a map with RTMG AdvMap tool:
(german: means "Runtime error 3420" Object invalid or not defined"
So far the creation of a template with RTMG beta works ok.
In ToTE the generation of a map with this template works ok.

Same here. Runtime error 3420 at the end of processing a map created with a RTMG template.
Btw do need to install the H5_Game.NCF.exe from the NCF archive ?

I started to work on the bugs RunTime 3420 and 3421.
But before putting a link on a debugging file
I need more precise informations.
I would like to know exactly at which time the bug occurred and
which actions you had very right front fact (just before the bug)
This bugs are fixable and I want to fix them.

Yes, If you want to play a map with NCF Creatures, you need it, you must run the game with it.

I create template, than map.
I press AdvMap -> Generate -> Load Map. The processing bar goes up to about 80% or 85%, then error 3420.

I can confirm this, error 3420 always occurs when close to finishing the loading process

For me it doesn't even start, just crashes as soon as I click "generate".
BTW, I noticed that every connection in template is guarded with a strenght of 20. Kinda sucky.

I also will need you to test a RTMG.exe (debugging mode) on your computers.
This special .exe will generate a report that you will send me after running.
Soon, I'll be back to ask your help to run this special .exe

Ya, It's a fact and voluntary but, don't be anxious with it. This is a really good balancing.
Anyway, the strenght increases with the time.
No heroes can open a connection before 3 weeks average..
(exception if a "good" armies joined him)
That was not used for nothing to handle different values with the connections's strenght
maybe good for a template made at hand..but not really for a random template

Nah i'd rather go outside & feed quebecois to the grizzlies on this sunny day.
Btw, a friend tried it on a french vista version ( admin exec. ) & got the same error.

Is it likely that your RMG converter works with other maps, just like ones from Tapani? This could be pretty sick
Also, the staring zones in templates are pretty repeatable - 2wood / ore mines, 2 abandoned mines, dwellings tier 1 to 4. It may takes ages to find a precious resource mines, on XL map I don't have ANY in month 4, but could have defeat opponent by this time

One of the RTMG's greatest forces is in being able to transform any H5 map, no matter where this map is coming from. (H5 RMG, Human, Tapani, Others RMG, etc etc)

Mines? ya... a template is created with mine settings...
So, all players has a same setting starting zone in aim of total balancing. Excepts that objects can be differents. H5's RMG change, anyway, objects from a tag value template (UpgBuildingsDensity, LuckMoralBuildingsDensity, TreasureBuildingPoints, etc etc) and each time you re-use this template.
At one time and for the same settings, a player may have a Blackmarket while another player may have instead, a Tranding Post and a Elemental Conflux.
I know you don't read French but I realized a big analyze of template mechanics, last december.

Several zones may have same values but when the map is generated, objects are differents.
Anyway, you can use a random template from RTMG without to transform the map created by H5 from this template, if you want. but it's not a good idea.
Because, RTMG makes random templates in the aim that maps created by this templates will be transform by RTMG after. (Except for now, that's crash)
And too because H5 RMG maps sucks!

You forget NCF neutral dwelling...and secondary players zones may offers the 7 dwellings....
You talk about 2 abandoned mines, but the number can changes for each template generation. a zone may have 3, 4 or 5 abandoned mines, whanever.

but RTMG removes all mines in AdvMap processing....
In a RTMG map, resources is given by creatures after fight.
No resources and mines on ground. (Except Abandoned Mines who may give other than gold, Except chests too)
You want resources? go to fight.
The give of resource is ultra balancing. if you fight every days never you will miss resources.
You can search and hope and find abandoned mines and exploited it.
You can find Horn of Plenty too, or a bag of gold, etc etc...
Why remove Resources?
only to use their positions to add new objets that H5 RMG isn't adding by itself.
You know this objects as:

You want resources? Fighters fight.
Creatures provide them

Ok, those which live errors with their RTMG, for which, it crashs
I reedited my first post by adding the Helping to fix RTMG Errors part.
Go to read it and follow the steps to know if that fix your bug
or follow the steps to help to fix your bug.
