I tend to agree here.. Should we really start rewarding Deserters?? The lesson that will teach is... if you start to lose.. just run away and hide long enough.. and you will be given a share of highest honor.
Dont get me wrong.. those are way cool medals..  But Strider doesnt even deserve half a medal if he left TOH and abandonded the Ceasars Finals.

So we've waited long enough -- I'm thinking of this decision. I believe it to be fair, and we want this over. Who knows what happened to strider, though its not like him just to 'disappear', he doesn't take this lightly.
I'm going to give firedragon the facial half of the caesar award, giving him 75% of the prestige points and cash prize.
Strider will get the non-facial half with the remaining 25% of the prestige points and cash etc...
Sounds good? Of course there will be complaints, but seriously think on it, it IS the best and FAIREST decision.

So your saying Fire gets 75% of Prestige and 75% of the cash and Strider gets 25% of Prestige and 25% of cash?
I think that sounds fair.. Strider deserves something for making it to the finals... but doesnt deserve Half since he was a deserter.. So half of half sounds the fairest.
That decision has got my support.. If that matters

Ofcourse.. come to think of it... During my time as Arbitor... I spent just as much time if not more time Arbitrating... then Strider spent in playing in Ceasar Finals games.. So maybe instead of Strider getting 25%... maybe shoud be broke down like this:
FireDragon = 75%
Strider = 15%
Jinxer = 10%
No Face Shield Award needed for Jinxer.. just the 10% Prestige and Cash will be fine.

Jinxer failed as arbitor to give Caesars proper ending, so let him pay all the prizes
How about to give Firedragon full Caesar medal and for Strider medal "Missing in action" ?

As it is written in the toh page, there can be only one. I always wonder what on earth Strider did to deserve this kind of extra patience and attention. It seems for me that Ves will never make a straight forward step against Strider.
If you have a look the ceasar tournament itself, you can see that Fire did not have any time issues. He is not responsible for the delay. He is still here, plays daily basis.
On the other hand in our matchup with Strider, it took him 3 months to start. He began to play his little tricks with Fire, taking away another extra time, and now he is GONE.
I dont see any argument which would support that Strider deserves anything here, but please tell me, why sharing medal/points/cash would be fair.
I think Jinxer's argument (because he reached to the final) is weak, on same basis we could share the medal/points/cah between all ceasar finalist, furthermore all toh players, who gave some points to the finalists.
Also, there are always loosers in a final, who get their second place, not share of the gold medal.
I think personal preferences must not influence a decision like this.
Ps.
I told Fire that he should accept this "strange/unreasonable" decision and let the ceasars rest in peace, because toh is not a place anymore which worths arguing for

After some thinking. If we want to give some credits to both players reaching Caesar final, maybe need two Caesar medals, not split ed one. For example - Golden Caesar medal and Silver Caesar medal.

That is hardly the issue. Ves is basically saying neither deserves it and just wants to get it over with before 2nd Caesar's begins. The prize is just a formality.
The problem is not the final decision, it's what has led to this moment.

As usual Infinitus, you are wrong. I failed at nothing. If it wasnt for me, then they would have never finished the first game, nor even started the 2nd game till completion, nor began 3rd game. It took literally HOURS of my time, arguing in seperate MSN windows waiting on FIre to translate, then listening to Striders complaining blah blah blah...
Finally, in the 3rd game, when Strider got FALSE information about the map they played, he made a critical error, that caused the ultimate disappearace of Strider...
Basically Strider asked me if the WaterGate on Realm was on time delay or open all the time like ON Genesis. And I replyed that I was pretty sure that it was the same as Genesis, but that I was not 100% sure, since it had been a year since I made the map.. Instead of taking the time to test it for sure in Single player, he chose to accept the "I think but am not sure" statement from me as gold, mainly cause I was original map maker. SO he RUSHES the water gate week 4 day 1 only to find out it is closed until week 4 day 6. So he quits the game, and a 2 week arbitration insues
But if you ask any map maker that has made multiple maps about details of a map they made over a year ago, I guarentee that they cannot recall every detail of where every rock and blade of grass has been placed.
Anyways, its was essentially the EXACT same situation that May or maynot have led to FireDragon loosing Game #1 Fire Dragon asked many verterans if Armageddon killed Warmachines.. and ALL of them assured him that it did infact kill warmachines.. So he foolishly led out his first move in the final battle with a massive armageddon.. which DID NOT kill any warmachines. So FireDragon also was provided with false information.
So after the 2 weeks of arbitrating and trying to find a compromise to get Strider to continue the game, I talk FireDragon into letting Strider Change his last turn where he moved his main from Sunken Temple to the water gate.. to this time moving from the Sunken back to land to go on with game, and make another plan. Fire said he would be okay with this, ONLY if Strider moved ALL other heroes the same, and Transfered all army from all heroes the exact same.
So we finally restart the game, and the first turn takes almost 45 mins and Fire notices that Striders main now has different amount of army then the last time, and points it out nto me and strider.. few mins later Strider Disconnects and doesnt come back for the rest of day.. next day he sends me message that his power went out. Then I argue with him that he MUST move all troops the same, and to make a long story short, he signed off, and we have not see him since.
So my arbitration was flawless.. I got them to talk and play 2.5 games that was at a stand still for MONTHS.. my arbitration abilities cannot summon a player to online that has disappeared.
@ Kispagat -- To be honest I dont think that Strider deserves anything in the Ceasar awards catagory either, I even said that in a previous post. HOWEVER, maybe its because I have been arbitrator recently, and think this sillyness has gone on long enough, I can see where a compromise may be in order. Here is further details of my logic. Yes Strider Quit and is the main cause for this tourny not finishing.. BUT FireDragon Also did not WIN the correct number of games to earn the Title either. So they BOTH dont deserve to be sole Ceasars alone.. However, since Fire Dragon is the most available that is why Vesuvius has given 3/4 Fire and only 1/4 to Strider.
And even tho Infinitus can be arrogant and wrong most of the time, I do think his idea has merit that would be more fitting for Veusvius to Color each of his already made medals, make Fires Gold and Striders silver.
 
And btw, I was Obviously kidding about wanting any medals or prestige for being arbitrator.. as Always I have donated my time to the betterment of TOH for the last 10 years and never asked anything in return.

But there is no way that Fire could win the correct number of games, because Strider quitted. Please, dont mix up the cause and effect. Its quite hard to play/win against a non-existing opponent.
