Have not used them in a while, if you also consider the boost to bash chances that may not change anytime soon

also dillips didn't use any magic ,but anyway it looked that dwarves can 't lose
who knows how it would went against good wizard and huge ini boost from mini-arties , but i'm pretty sure dwarves have a chance with that huge army (if they have all runes they kick ass )
also, pera come back to playing we need some more mentored heroes

Its hard evough to beat normal acadamy Army with there insane initiative. But when you ADD 14-15 Free Titans to the army... There is no way to manage that... Not even for Fortress.
I am only sad that I didnt get a chance to actually have a good serious final battle. Bet it woulda been a great battle..but instead we ended on sillyness. Ohh well..

Actually DV comes in handy here if you still remember my replay with elit? I have 34 int with academy for some troops after mass haste
But rune of dragonform for all troops, then dv on academy, no chance there
Maybe its overpowered, but it can be the only solution sad to say

Well, I actually did mentor out one real little hero, with the help of my lady, right this week So I am kind of busy with helping her, but as soons as the heat is off, I am there for more "mentoring"
What I wanted to say about fortress fighting outnumbered in lvl7 is that if you are fighting against magic town (with weaker units) and you manage to kill all except lvl7 fast, you can win, with the help of paw strike and rune of thunderclap.
DV against academy isn't that great IMO. Minies with magic protection makes the damage from it negligable. Magic mirror should work too, although I never really seen it happens.

Game #1 Ceasar
Strider WIN (Fortress) vs. Valentin Loss (Haven)
Map = Genesis
Strider had very good playing. In his first game on Genesis he was able to take everything everywhere and to have a fight with me on week 5. On week 3 he take the guard on the sea, and colect 2 utopias for 1 turn.. He catch me without all my army and in unprepared mode, but it was my mistake.. We have no final battle.
Hes bears always tigger "paw strike" and restart the initiative of my Champions. They looks like bugged The champions where not able to hit! Also in my fights on the map i lost some trops (a few angels and champions).
I m ready for our next two games. I hope we will increase the speed of our turns, because the Genesis game, we had 3-4 saves, and about 1 hour losed time - per one turn

Strider HL(fortress, Karli) won Valentin(haven, Maeve) - Genesis (v.0.9), Week 5 (6?), day 2
Series score: 1-0 (till 3 victories)
Description: Random factor generated Karli in tavern whom I preferred over Ebba. Game started with week of -20% initiative for good races – it made launching the campaign quite ponderous for both of us. Layout of Genesis is original and observing one’s opponent is quite entertaining Anyway, I got logs and quite soon warpath. Also I managed to grab both lvl 1-2 dwellings.
At this point (mid week 1) Karli experienced the first crisis – battle with phoenix guarding entrance to subterranean revealed in shock that there are 2 of them (we had short time to look in editor and it said there’s only 1). Slowed dwarfs without ballista sacrificed half of the army to pay for this revelation.
I decided to grab 2nd town. Yet, I was short for several tiles and week characteristics suggested that maybe it was for better. Anyway, I attacked the renegade outpost on day 8 without extra population and 2 morale for the damn bird decimated almost all remaining troops.
This would be only half of misfortune. The real disappointment came as a week of disease – I saw that dwarfs have extra lvl1,2,3,4,5 dwellings compared to haven kingdom. I had also invested money in buildings… So in the end there was no reward for structures or all those conquered dwellings.
Imagine my dismay when week 3 turned out to be week of fever! Again no reward for extra lvl6 dwelling or town (haven general was reluctant to put a flag on it). Moreover, constructed dragon and thanes in castle went straight to void skipping battle feat under my flag. Btw, I wasn’t able to locate “haste” spell anywhere and guild opted to present me with “word of light”, which meant that I will have to take a detour and fight red dragons guarding book of light. So I did. By that time I had triple ballista (no tent). The only bright spot was acquisition of Traveler’s boots.
After that I went for lvl7 dwelling and lucky shot relic – armor of forgotten hero. Finally Karli hooked out Flaming arrows at lvl24 from the shapeless sack of randomness. That was a sign and ship was boarded soon after. Before the sea journey the stout dwarfs dined in full Utopia.
Karli visited sunken temple on day 1, week 4 and his brethren on haven’s side on the next day. Then he got home. Soon Valentin moved decisively through thrashed gates of champion/angels garrison (lost 3 his own winged warriors). I decided to break garrison in underground to form a 6 piece Dragon Art combo. Then I went straight to meet up with Val.
Val had done good creeping as both of us were lvl27. Besides he pillaged both garrisons treasuring relicts (angel garrison area). Yet, extra dwellings (dear opponent decided not to register lvl7 or take sphinx) and 3 utopias with plenty of money and arts played crucial role in final battle.
Replay: no sense posting it as Karli lost only 4 skirmishers. Basically, I had almost full army (13 lavas and so on) vs. Val's 51 champions, 146 crossbowmen, 2 archangels, some fodders. Bears struck champions and then it ended soon...
In conclusion, thank you, Val, for this exciting adventure. Hopefully, next games will be finished sooner than in a month. See you soon

You mean week 4 day 1 he took out garrison that gives 30k exp and consists of water elementals and "water cyclopes" that are ice bolting all living sh!t out of you?! Thats impossible! The losses would have been excruciating... Can I see a replay of that battle?! Really?!
